Arti had never stepped out of her community. One afternoon, as she sat at her doorstep, she noticed a woman carrying a Hamari Silai bag and asked where she was going. Curious, Arti decided to join her and that single step changed her life.

At Hamari Silai, she not only learned tailoring but also gained confidence through workshops and outdoor visits. For the first time, she saw how markets really worked. After completing her training, Arti’s dedication stood out, and she was offered a full-time job as a trainer.

Today, Arti earns her own income, supports her family, and makes them proud. She never imagined she could be financially independent, but now she stands tall teaching and inspiring other women to dream bigger.

"I was a district level football player, but family responsibilities made me give up my passion. For a long time, I thought my dreams had ended. One day, I followed a friend to Hamari Silai and that decision changed everything.
At Hamari Silai, I didn’t just learn tailoring, I learned to believe in myself. With their support, I built my skills, my confidence, and finally my own brand Premika. At my first exhibition, I sold over 40 pieces and today I take customized orders too.
Without Hamari Silai, I would never have dared to start my own brand. They helped me turn my hidden dream into reality.
