The Hon’ble Supreme Court, in its judgment, referred to the role and findings of the DSC.

The Screenwriters Association mourns the passing of Satyam Tripathy, a senior television writer and a long-serving member of the SWA Executive Committee.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.

We mourn the passing of Sreenivasan, veteran Malayalam screenwriter, actor, and director, an extraordinary voice of conscience in Indian cinema. With his sharp satire and deeply humane storytelling, he gave us characters and stories that will continue to inspire generations.

We mourn the passing away of senior screenwriter Anil Madusudan Kalelkar. A prolific storyteller across Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati cinema and television, he leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered.
