Got a message saying your parcel is out for delivery and asking you to call a number or dial a code like *21* # # # # # # # # #?
⚠️ DO NOT DO IT — THIS IS A SCAM

🔍 What’s happening?
Scammers are pretending to be delivery services and sending messages like:

* “Your order is out for delivery… call this number”
* Then they send a code like: *21* # # # # # # # # #

🚫 Why it’s dangerous:
Dialing that code activates call forwarding, meaning:

* Your calls (including OTPs) go to the scammer
* They can access your bank, WhatsApp, and other accounts

🚩 Red Flags:

* Unknown number (not official courier ID)
* No tracking ID or proper order details
* Urgent request to call or dial a code

✅ Stay Safe:

* Never dial unknown codes
* Never call suspicious numbers
* Verify deliveries only via official apps/websites
* Block & report the sender

A customer in Maharashtra bought a product from Amazon. Due to a defect, a return was scheduled.
👉 Return pickup date: 2nd February 2026

❌ Pickup agent NEVER came to the location
❌ Delivery person kept calling from different locations
❌ Used bad language and showed rude, unacceptable behavior
❌ Clearly said “I will not pick your order”

Despite this:

Amazon has NOT changed the pickup date

Product is STILL not picked

NO REFUND issued

NO action against the delivery gig worker

This is how Amazon treats its customers now?
No responsibility. No accountability. No respect.

Amazon services are becoming poorer day by day.
If this is the future of customer service, then it’s unacceptable.
