Pada 30 Mei 2026, KJRI Mumbai menggelar pertemuan bersama masyarakat Indonesia di Mumbai dan sekitarnya dalam suasana hangat Idul Adha 1447 H. Kegiatan ini menjadi momentum untuk mempererat silaturahmi, kebersamaan, dan rasa persaudaraan antar-WNI.
Dalam sambutannya, Konjen RI Mumbai menyampaikan pesan agar WNI di Mumbai terus mengambil peran sebagai duta bangsa di luar negeri, dengan menunjukkan karakter positif Indonesia melalui sikap ramah, saling menghormati, dan menjaga nama baik bangsa.
Pertemuan ini juga menjadi momen perkenalan Konsul Ekonomi I, Bapak Tjoki Aprianda Siregar, yang telah bergabung dan bertugas di KJRI Mumbai.
Silaturahmi ini menjadi pengingat bahwa semangat kebersamaan Indonesia tetap hidup di mana pun WNI berada. Dari Mumbai, WNI terus menjaga persatuan dan membawa nama baik Indonesia di luar negeri.

Darmasiswa Scholarship Academic Year 2026/2027 is now open! 🇮🇩✨

The Government of Indonesia has opened the Darmasiswa Scholarship Program Academic Year 2026/2027, a one-year non-degree scholarship program for foreign nationals to study Bahasa Indonesia, arts, and Indonesian culture at selected universities across Indonesia.

📌 Program: One-year non-degree scholarship
📌 Fields of Study: Bahasa Indonesia, arts, and Indonesian culture
📌 Eligibility: Foreign nationals aged 18–32 with a strong interest in learning Indonesian language and culture

A meeting was held between Mr. Eddy Wardoyo, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia, Mumbai and Mr. Anant Singhania, CEO of J.K. Enterprises. They discussed issues concerning the current progress of the company, possible business expansion, and the challenges it is facing. Apart from the challenges, Mr. Singhania still believed the strong commitment of the Indonesian Government to the foreign investors, and that the government would continue improving the atmosphere of ease of doing business in the country.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of upcoming initiatives such as Jakarta Mumbai Update (JaMU) 2026, which would be held by the Indonesian Consulate General in 25 June, and the Trade Expo Indonesia 2026, to be held in October by the Indonesian Government, as key platforms for promoting trade, creative economy, investment partnerships, business networking, tourism, and greater engagement between Indonesia and India.
Mr. Eddy Wardoyo, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia, Mumbai, held a meeting with Prof. Ajit Kumar Khare, Director, National Institute of Fashion Technology, and the latter’s executives on 19th May 2026 at NIFT Campus in Mumbai. The Consul General had a productive meeting with the NIFT leadership. They explore avenues for strengthening India–Indonesia cooperation in fashion, textiles, creative economy, possible student exchanges and joint workshops. Both sides also exchanged views on promoting innovation, traditional crafts, and future collaborative participations, further reinforcing the growing cultural and economic partnership between the two countries.
Mengusung tema “Jaga Tunas Bangsa Demi Kedaulatan Negara”, KJRI Mumbai melaksanakan Upacara Peringatan Hari Kebangkitan Nasional ke-118 Tahun 2026 pada 20 Mei 2026.
Upacara dipimpin oleh Konsul Jenderal RI di Mumbai dan diikuti oleh seluruh staf KJRI Mumbai serta anggota Dharma Wanita Persatuan KJRI Mumbai.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Konsul Jenderal RI selaku Pembina Upacara membacakan sambutan Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital RI yang menekankan pentingnya menjaga generasi muda sebagai tunas bangsa, memperkuat kemandirian nasional, meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia, melindungi anak di ruang digital, serta memperkuat literasi digital dan solidaritas seluruh elemen masyarakat.
Semangat Kebangkitan Nasional menjadi pengingat bersama untuk terus berkontribusi dalam mewujudkan Indonesia yang maju, berdaulat, dan berdaya saing.
