On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, a Tree Plantation Drive was successfully organized at Tirhut College of Agriculture (TCA), Dholi on 05 June 2026 at 6:00 AM in the college campus premises. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. P. P. Singh, Dean, TCA, Dholi, and was coordinated by Dr. S. R. Meena, Nodal Officer, National Service Scheme (NSS), TCA, Dholi. The event was organized with the primary objective of promoting environmental awareness and fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature among the academic community.
A total of 50 saplings were planted during the programme, including Mango and Kagji Lemon plants. These species were carefully selected not only for their ecological significance but also for their economic and nutritional value, contributing meaningfully towards a greener, healthier, and more sustainable campus environment.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, staff, and students of the college, all of whom came forward with great zeal and dedication. Their active involvement and wholehearted cooperation were instrumental in making this programme a grand success.

Tirhut College of Agriculture (TCA), Dholi observed the Urja Rakshak
Abhiyan (Energy Guardian Campaign) on 22 May 2026 at 7:00 AM at TCA
Dholi Campus, under the national initiative for conservation of fuel and energy,
launched in pursuance of the appeal of the Hon& #39;ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr.
Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (Dr. RPCAU), Pusa. The
programme included an awareness campaign on responsible use of fuel and
energy, promotion of cycling, walking, and use of public transport, and a
pledge-taking ceremony in which all NSS volunteers, students, faculty
members, and supporting staff of TCA Dholi collectively committed to
conserving fuel and energy.

The Crop Research Group Programme meeting was organized on 08.05.2026 at Tirhut College of Agriculture, Dholi to review the progress of ongoing research activities and deliberate on future research priorities addressing regional and national agricultural challenges. The meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of the Dean, Tirhut College of Agriculture, Dholi. In his address, the Chair emphasized the need for problem-oriented and impactful research focused on local agricultural issues and farmers’ needs. He also highlighted the importance of strengthening research under various AICRPs and University-Funded Research Projects (UFRP) to generate meaningful and outcome-based results. During the programme, scientists presented the major achievements and research highlights of AICRP and UFRPs carried out during Kharif-2025. Discussions were also held on the proposed plan of work for Kharif- 2026, with emphasis on improving research effectiveness and regional relevance.

Proud to share that two of our B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag.students, Miss Ojaswi Priyadarsi and Mr. Happy Kumar, have been selected in Jeevika for the post of Young Professionals. On this occasion, the selected students expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the college for providing continuous support, guidance, and an enriching environment that helped shape their future.
