A two-day Industrial Hearing Screening Camp was successfully conducted on 4th & 5th May 2026 at Bannari Amman Sugars Limited, Alanganchi Village, Nanjangud, Karnataka.
This initiative was organized by the Department of POCD(Prevention of communication Disorders), AIISH, aiming to promote early identification and prevention of hearing-related issues among industrial workers.

๐๐ AIISH proudly celebrates an outstanding international research achievement at the 37th World Congress of Audiology (WCA 2026), Seoul, Korea.
Heartiest congratulations to our postgraduate student, P. R. Sujeeth, under the supervision of Dr.Prashanth Prabhu and in collaboration with Mr. Kamalakannan Karupaiah, JRF, for being selected as a Best Oral Presentation Finalist for the research paper:
โAuditory sensory gating in misophonia: A neurophysiological evaluation.โ
Presented on 27 May 2026 as part of the scientific program at WCA 2026, this recognition reflects AIISHโs growing contribution to international research in misophonia and auditory neuroscience, while highlighting the excellence of student-led research emerging from the institute.
We sincerely acknowledge SoQuiet Misophonia Advocacy for supporting this work through a dissemination grant and extend gratitude to the Director, AIISH, for continuous encouragement and support towards international academic engagement.

โจThe Department of Speech Language Pathology has conducted a two-hour In house staff enrichment program titled โDemonstration of Reaction Time softwaresโ on 28th of April, Tuesday from 2 to 4pm. The Resource person being Dr. Abhishek. B.P., Assistant Professor, CE-SLS, AIISH, the current program focuses on orientation and demonstration of DMDX and E-Prime software applications, which are widely used in reaction time measurements in Psycholinguistic experiments.๐ปโฑ๏ธ
