Integrated Health Screening Health Camp was organized at Global Health Immunization & Population Control (Old Age Home), De-addiction Centre and Halfway Home, Gram Vikash Parishad, Rangloo, Nagaon, Assam.

A total of 44 X-rays were conducted today as part of the comprehensive health screening initiative, aimed at ensuring timely detection, screening and access to essential healthcare services.

On dated 1/10/2026, at Office of the Principal cm Chief Supdt, Nagaon Medical College and Hospital, first DHS-Nagaon MCH coordination meeting was held. The meeting was chaied by the Principal cm Chief Supdt,Prof (Dr) Purujit Choudhury and Co-Chaired by-Prof (Dr)) Mousumi Krishnatreya; Medical Supdt. The meeting was attended by Jt. DHS, Nagaon, DPM Nagaon and other officers from District Health Society and also Various Nodal officers cm faculties from Medical College. Amongst the various discussion few highlighting resolutions were-
1. To develop a common plateform for communication, coordination and intimation of any referral (In) cases from peripharel health institutions to NMCH.
2. To form a common plateform for all refferred (Out) cases from NMCH to elsewhere.
3. To identify pockets of high referral within the district with technical support from Medical College
4. To conduct a root cause analysis of referrals in such pockets with technical support from Medical College
5. To initiate Referal Review shorly.
The meeting ended with a positive note from the house.

An Integrated Health Screening Camp was organized on 1st October 2026 at Sadou Asom Gramya Puthibharal/Nabajibon SN Children Home, Nagaon, on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons.

A total of 20 senior citizens were screened and 20 X-ray examinations were conducted.

The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment and the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA). Dedicated teams from the TB, HIV & AIDS, Leprosy and Mental Health programmes were present at the camp and provided screening and necessary health-related services.
