Reading Keeda A children's library with a vision to make books accessible to all children. "Everyone is a reader. Some j"Everyone is a reader. We are closed on Mondays.

Some just haven't found their favourite book yet." Reading Keeda Library is a children's library that works in a not-for-profit model, with a vision to make books accessible to all children irrespective of their age, gender, caste, religion and economic background. We are an initiative of Pathimba Foundation, registered as not-for-profit Section 8 company. In the last 10 years, we have worked with around 500 children through all our events, session and collaborations. We have a collection of 6500 books and magazines in English, Marathi and Hindi for all children in the age group of 1 year to 18 years old. We also have a collection of parenting books and magazines. We conduct monthly offline Read-Alouds and Readers' Circle. We also run a free online Teens' Book Club, open for all teenagers. We are open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 9 am to 12 pm , and from 5 pm to 8 pm. Address: 201, Near Shankar Nagar Garden, Shankar Nagar, Nagpur - 440010

What happens when you mix everyday delivery bags with boundless childhood imagination? You get pure magic!

On September 6th, Reading Keeda hosted a cozy "Best from Waste" art workshop where 10 enthusiastic young artists came together to discover the fun of eco-conscious crafting. Using repurposed paper delivery bags, the children learned how to measure, fold, and craft their very own functional envelopes from scratch.

Under the warm and encouraging guidance of Anushree Sirsikar, the kids brought their envelopes to life with vibrant paints, playful brushstrokes, and intricate hand-drawn patternsโ€”turning plain brown paper into gorgeous, personalized keepsakes!

It was an afternoon filled with focus, laughter, and a wonderful reminder that sustainable living and creative joy go hand in hand.

Reading Keeda Library is proud to feature Vinod Kumar Shukla as our Author of the Month! The first Chhattisgarhi Jnanpith recipient and the first Indian author to win the international PEN/Nabokov Award. Writing quietly from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Shukla is widely regarded as one of the most distinctive and beloved contemporary Hindi writers of our era.
