We have deployed a dedicated Goda Ghat Squad across vulnerable locations for your safety. Our teams will stand in the rain so you remain safe - please don't make them risk their lives for avoidable situations. The best way to support us today is to stay away from the ghats, and let our teams focus on genuine emergencies. 🙏😊

[By serving selflessly, one realizes Hari.]

As the sacred Sant Nivruttinath Maharaj Palkhi departs Nashik City today, our teams, led by CP Sandeep Karnik IPS, bowed in gratitude to the Warkaris and prayed for their safe and blessed onward journey to Pandharpur. 🙏

In just 5 days, we've already received 125+ entries for the Reel Competition from you, and we're amazed, not just by the overwhelming response, but by the creativity, originality and powerful messages you've shared in our fight against narcotics. Because so many of you asked for a little more time, we're extending the submission deadline.

🗓 New Deadline: 30th June 2026, 11:59 PM

Many of you also shared posters instead of reels, so we've now officially opened the competition in two categories with separate prizes for each: Reels and Posters. If you haven't participated yet, this is your chance. Let's show that when Nashik comes together, drugs don't stand a chance...! 💪

🎬 Nashik, it's your turn.

People think content creation is frivolous. We disagree.

We believe, influencers shape trends, spark conversations and influence culture. Over the past 2.5 years, Nashik has witnessed this firsthand. Creators here have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Nashik City Police, serving as a powerful force multiplier for positive change.

Now, we have a bigger mission where every Nashikkar can officially partner with us to help us win this next battle - Ensuring that drugs never find a place among our youth again.

Our guests traveled hundreds of kilometres to our city and returned home carrying not just memories of their pilgrimage, but also a beautiful impression of the connect between Nashik's citizens and its police... what more can we ask for..!?

In recognition of their honesty, initiative and teamwork in creating this positive impression of our city, autorickshaw driver Devidas Deshmukh ji and the police personnel who helped return the valuables to the family were felicitated by CP Sandeep Karnik IPS yesterday.

A 23-year-old accused running a snacks shop chose the lure of quick money through MD trafficking. For young people tempted by such shortcuts, this is a reminder that a tip by an ordinary citizen is all it will take to destroy your future. After the dismantling of major drug networks, the remaining drug menace in Nashik is being rooted out through strong Police-Citizen Partnership, where alongside Nashik City Police, our alert Citizen Commandos are waging a relentless war against drugs. Keep sharing information on our CP WhatsApp Number 99 233 233 11. Together, we will keep Nashik safe and drug-free.

In two significant detections,

1️⃣ Gang involved in underground cable theft traced by Crime Branch Unit-1; five accused arrested. A massive recovery of 8 truckloads comprising 60.95 tonnes of aluminium & copper cables worth ₹10.40 crore was made from a godown located outside our jurisdiction. Investigation also led to the detection of five additional theft cases registered across Nashik City police stations.

2️⃣ Two accused arrested for theft from an industrial material shop by our MIDC Police Station team. Stolen property worth ₹2.07 lakh recovered, including machinery/material stolen from a factory.

Those targeting industries, public utilities and critical infrastructure will be relentlessly pursued and our Nashik City will continue to remain one of the safest cities for industries under our watch.
