Qualification: Any Graduate/ Dip & dip in safety
Exp: 5-10yrs
Job Profile:
1. Facilitate the zero Injury philosophy through out the company.
2. Ensure the requirements of the corporate levels health & safety system ( OHSAS 18001-2007) is delivered on site.
3. Coordinate with Safety Officer/ Sr. Safety Office / Safety Manager to implement, and manages the Company's Injury/Illness Prevention Program and directs and coordinates the participation of departments within that program.
4. To help Safety Manager to provide supporting docs to Conducts regular safety audits of concern departments including the inspection of facilities, worksites, equipment, work practices, and safety devices to ensure compliance with required workplace safety standards, regulations, and County policy; reports findings to department and recommends changes to establish safe work conditions; may compel cessation of work in order to address potential imminent hazards; monitors changes and/or makes follow-up inspections.
5. Compile and record safety statistics.
6. Conducting toolbox talks for site Labours.
7. Maintain the necessary Safety related records
8. Ensure the use and wearing of protective clothing and safety equipment provided
9. Ensure the use of the correct tools and equipment for the job
10. Report to Project Manager / concern person, if any unsafe conditions or defects in plant or equipment
11. Report any injuries resulting from work activities to Safety Officer/ Sr. Safety Officer/ Safety Manager.
12. Investigation into Site accidents and analysis of the causes and associated preventative actions and reporting to higher authority.
13. Ensure the maintenance of a high standard of housekeeping at all times
14. Take initiative to increase employee safety awareness by providing comprehensive and consistent training (both regulatory and company mandated)
15. Facilitating communication and cooperation between management and employees on safety and health issues
16. To conduct Fire drill/ Mock drill with the help of Safety Steward/Safety supervisor
