Shri AS Rajeev made and subscribed oath on 11th March 2024 as Vigilance Commissioner before the Central Vigilance Commissioner, who was authorized by the President of India in pursuance of the provision contained in Section 5 (3) of the CVC Act 2003. Shri Arvinda Kumar, Vigilance Commissioner was also present.

Shri A S Rajeev is a career banker with over 38 years of experience in four banks, namely, Syndicate Bank, Indian Bank, Vijaya Bank and Bank of Maharashtra.

As MD & CEO of Bank of Maharashtra for the last 5 years, he led the Bank effectively to position it as a top performing PSB in the country, in terms of all major business and profitability parameters having the best asset quality.

Central Vigilance Commission observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 from the 30th October to 5th November, 2023 with the theme - "Say no to corruption; commit to the Nation, भ्रष्टाचार का विरोध करें; राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पित रहें”. As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2023, the Central Vigilance Commission will also be having a panel discussion on Disciplinary Proceedings on the 2nd of November, 2023.

Central Vigilance Commission is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 from 31st October to 6th November with the theme “भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त भारत - विकसित भारत”;“Corruption free India for a developed Nation”. Vigilance Awareness Week commenced with the administering of the integrity pledge by the Commission - Sh Suresh N Patel, Central Vigilance Commissioner, Sh Praveen Kumar Srivastava, Vigilance Commissioner and Sh Arvinda Kumar, Vigilance Commissioner at Satarkata Bhawan at 11am to the officials of Central Vigilance Commission.

Message from Central Vigilance Commission on the eve of Vigilance Awareness Week 2022

The Hon'ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, administered the oath of office to Sh Suresh N Patel as Central Vigilance Commissioner at a ceremony held on 03.08.22 at 1000 hrs at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Sh Praveen Kumar Srivastava and Sh Arvinda Kumar took oath on 03.08.22 as Vigilance Commissioners. They were sworn in by the Central Vigilance Commissioner, Sh Suresh N Patel at the office of the Central Vigilance Commission, Satarkata Bhawan, New Delhi.
