*Indian Skies in Denmark*
This autumn marks the culmination of our three-year musical exchange and collaboration project between India and Denmark, led by composer and saxophonist Lars Møller.
Indian Skies brings together the traditions of Indian classical music and the sound of contemporary bigband jazz in new compositions.

The latest programme features two exceptional guest artists from India: Ashwani Shankar, one of the world’s leading performers on the shehnai and acclaimed young tabla player Zuheb Ahmed Khan. They perform with Copenhagen Jazz Orchestra, Copenhagen Youth Jazz Orchestra and Bigband of the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus.

In October and November, Indian Skies tour schools, concert halls and cultural venues across Denmark, with performances in Copenhagen, Gentofte, Greve, Ballerup, Aarhus and Herning. Along the way, the project brings together students, young talents, professional musicians and audiences.
The tour is presented in collaboration with CYJO, DR Koncerthuset, DR Musikariet, Copenhagen Jazz Orchestra, Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium, supported by Danish Culture Institute India and William Demant Fonden.
The project also links to other Nordic countries and Latvia.

🇦🇹 Happy Austrian National Day! 🇦🇹

On 26 October, Austria celebrates its National Day — a day that marks an important chapter in the country’s modern history.

On this day in 1955, Austria’s permanent neutrality was enshrined in the Constitution, following the restoration of its sovereignty and the withdrawal of the Allied forces.

Today, the day is celebrated across Austria with the red-white-red flag, ceremonies, open houses and a strong sense of community. From Austria to India, we celebrate the values of peace, dialogue and connection that continue to bring people and cultures closer together.

🇦🇹 Herzliche Glückwünsche zum Nationalfeiertag!

A glimpse into the Opening Ceremony of Long Night of Literatures 2026, hosted within the welcoming grounds of the Embassy of the Czech Republic.

We marked the prelude to the Long Night of Literatures 2026 with an evocative Literary Forum hosted at the Czech Embassy organised in partnership with Oxford Bookstore, the evening brought together European authors and Indian literary enthusiasts under one roof to explore metaphor, translation, and cross-cultural dialogue.

A heartfelt thank you to the Embassy of the Czech Republic for opening their doors to poetry, and to everyone who joined us for this warm precursor to LNOL 2026!
