Our project is centered around the theme ‘My daughter is precious’. We want to spread the message that girls also deserve to be loved and cherished.

We wanted to focus on the lower socio economic areas in our society, where educating the girl child is a greater challenge. We realized that most people who live in these areas can’t even afford a photograph. So we thought of giving them a polaroid picture of father and daughter, which will be a constant reminder that their daughter is precious. If this is something you would like to support, please like our Page and share it with others.

🌊 “You cannot control the waves, but you can learn to surf.”~ Jon Kabat-Zinn 🌊

Life is unpredictable, just like ocean waves. While we can’t control every challenge, we can build emotional resilience—the power to navigate difficulties, manage stress, and adapt with strength. 💪

Recognizing the importance of mental health & emotional intelligence, MDIP conducted a Life Skills session on “Emotional Resilience” on 28th January 2025 with the incredible .goyal.official an Energy, Emotion & Communication Coach, alongside MDIP student volunteers.

✨ Why Emotional Resilience Matters for Youth:
✔️ Understanding emotions & their impact
✔️ Managing reactions in tough situations
✔️ Practicing mindfulness to stay balanced
✔️ Building healthy communication & negotiation skills

The interactive session encouraged MDIP mentees to reflect on their emotional responses and provided them with practical strategies to help them "surf" through life’s challenges with confidence. 🏄‍♂️

At MDIP, we believe that emotional intelligence is a critical life skill that empowers youth to thrive in all aspects of life.

🙏 Huge thanks to Garima Goyal & our amazing student volunteers for making this session impactful!
