Exploring the Self: FDP on Ashtavakra Gita at FIMT 🏛️✨

The R&D Cell and IQAC at FIMT recently organized a transformative One-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Connecting Dots of ‘Who Am I’ based on Ashtavakra Gita.”

The day kicked off with a warm felicitation of our distinguished resource person, Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tyagi, by Prof. Shaveta Gagneja (Director, School of Law).

The Power of ‘Neti-Neti’: Dr. Tyagi delved into Advaita Vedanta, teaching us how to look beyond the ego and find our true identity in pure consciousness.

Modern Relevance: We explored how ancient wisdom addresses 21st-century challenges like stress and identity crises.

NEP 2020 & IKS: The second session highlighted the importance of Indian Knowledge Systems in modern education, covering the Panchakosha and AUM frameworks for emotional balance.

The session concluded with a vibrant Q&A and a formal Vote of Thanks by Prof. Dr. Shaveta Gagneja.
