An insightful session on the Financial Maturity Index, developed by IIM Udaipur in association with PRICE (People Research on India’s Consumer Economy), was conducted at the PFRDA office by Prof. Ashok Banerjee, Director, IIM Udaipur, Dr. Rajesh Shukla, MD & CEO, PRICE and Ms. Pooja Sharma, Head – Research & Operations, PRICE.
The session focused on understanding financial awareness, savings behaviour, and investment habits through a survey conducted across Gujarat and Rajasthan.
Ms. Mamta Shankar, WTM (Economics), Mr. Sanjay Pandey, WTM (Finance), Mr. Ashok Kumar Soni, ED, Ms. Sumeet Kaur Kapoor, ED, along with other officers from PFRDA, were present during the discussion.
The interaction highlighted the importance of financial literacy and informed financial decision-making in strengthening long-term financial security and inclusion.

A major step forward for social security! PFRDA has signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation to strengthen financial resilience through the National Pension System (NPS).
The agreement was signed in the presence of Hon’ble CM Shri. Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Shri. VENKATESWARLU PERI ED, PFRDA.

PFRDA successfully organised a Workshop on the Retirement Income Scheme (RIS) under NPS for corporates and HR professionals on 22nd May 2026.
The workshop focused on creating awareness around the recently launched RIS under NPS, highlighting its benefits for employees, flexible withdrawal and periodic payout options, and the role of structured retirement planning in ensuring long-term financial security.
The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Shri S. Ramann, Chairperson, PFRDA and concluded with his valedictory address.
The session also featured insightful addresses and presentations by senior officials of PFRDA, including:
