Multi Agency Crisis Management Mock Exercise Conducted at Surat International Airport

A Multi Agency Crisis Management Mock Exercise based on a Sub Conventional Aerial Threat/UAV/Rogue scenario was conducted at Airport under the supervision of senior CISF officers along with officials from various stakeholder.

Personnel from , , ATC, , Surat Municipal Corporation and participated in the coordinated exercise aimed at validating inter-agency coordination, response, alert dissemination, area domination measures and operational preparedness to effectively counter emerging aerial security threats.

The exercise highlighted swift response, seamless and operational readiness, reaffirming the commitment of all stakeholders towards ensuring a safe and secure aviation environment.

Testing Readiness, Saving Lives: Multi-Agency Cloudburst and Flood Response Drill Held at NTPC Tapovan

A Multi-Agency Mock Drill based on a Cloudburst/Flood scenario was conducted at CISF Unit TVHP NTPC , , to assess and response capabilities during natural situations.

Personnel from , Garhwal Scouts, , , , State Services, Local Police, BRO, , IB, LIA, SDM Office, HCC, teams and other stakeholders actively participated in the exercise, demonstrating coordinated response and effective inter-agency .

DG CISF Chairs Zonal Operational Review Meeting at Chandigarh

Shri Praveer Ranjan, DG/CISF, chaired the Zonal Operational Review Meeting of Airports under North Zone and IGI Airport at Chandigarh. The meeting was attended by Smt. Binita Thakur, ADG/APS, Shri Senthil Avoodai Krishna Raj S, IG/APS-I, Shri Babu Ram, DIG/CASO, ASG Delhi, Shri Sudhir Kumar, DIG, PrSO to DG/CISF and other senior officers of the Airport Sector.

The review meeting focused on operational preparedness, counter-drone capabilities, hostile UAV threats, perimeter security, CCTV analytics, Full Body Scanners (FBS), Digi Yatra, multi-agency mock exercises, emergency response mechanisms and strengthening of QRTs through specialized and tactical training, including deployment of women personnel.

Reaffirming CISF's commitment to securing critical infrastructure and civil aviation, DG emphasized technology-driven security, seamless inter-agency coordination, continuous training and personnel welfare to effectively address evolving security challenges.

Demonstrating that service extends beyond security, personnel of THDC Unit responded swiftly after receiving information about a bull that had fallen into a nearly 100-foot-deep gorge near View Point on the B Puram–Koti route, .

In coordination with the local Police, State Fire Service, Municipal authorities and management, CISF launched a joint . After nearly four hours of sustained efforts, careful planning and seamless teamwork, the was safely rescued from the gorge.

The successful operation reflects CISF's commitment to service, compassion and teamwork, reaffirming that every life matters.

CISF Weightlifters Shine at All India Police Weightlifting Cluster 2026–27

At the All India Police Weightlifting Cluster 2026–27, held from 23rd to 27th May 2026 at Madhuban, Karnal, Haryana, CISF athletes showcased exceptional strength, determination and sporting excellence with a remarkable performance in the Weightlifting and Powerlifting events.

Demonstrating outstanding skill and resilience, the CISF contingent secured a total of 18 medals.
