Rooted in stories of care, resilience, and collective action, this section explores the deep connections between people, land, and survival.

This year, 10 films will be showcased under this theme as part of EcoReels 2026.

Through stories rooted in everyday urban experiences, these films explore questions of infrastructure, pollution, housing, labour, inequality, displacement, and survival within rapidly changing environments.

Bringing together diverse perspectives and lived realities, this section reflects on the tensions and possibilities of urban life in a changing world.
