As part of the observance of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in May 2026, Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Chennai carried out a cleanliness drive across the campus, including the garden area and newly installed solar panels. Staff members of the Centre actively participated in the initiative with great enthusiasm.
On this occasion, the Centre also highlighted the successful installation of the solar power system at RC, Chennai under the visionary initiatives of the Government of India and the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s green energy mission, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability, clean energy, and a greener future.

20 मई, 2026 को ललित कला अकादेमी में विद्वान कलाकारों की कलाकृतियों पर आधारित एक प्रस्तुति और व्याख्यान कार्यक्रम 'वर्धनी' (पीपीटी प्रस्तुति) का आयोजन किया गया।
इस अवसर पर सुश्री कोमल देवी (प्रिंटमेकिंग) और सुश्री ट्विंकल नंदा (सिरामिक) ने अपनी प्रस्तुतियाँ दीं। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि प्रख्यात छापा कलाकार श्री मनोहर लाल भुगरा रहे।

"सीसीआरटी (CCRT)" द्वारा सांस्कृतिक प्रतिभा खोज छात्रवृत्ति योजना (CTSSS) 2026–27 के अंतर्गत 10 से 14 वर्ष आयु वर्ग के प्रतिभाशाली बाल कलाकारों से आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।
यह योजना संगीत, नृत्य, चित्रकला, लोक कला, नाटक, शिल्प एवं अन्य पारंपरिक कला विधाओं में प्रतिभाशाली बच्चों को प्रोत्साहन एवं आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान करने हेतु संचालित की जाती है।
