Agrocrete Solid Bricks and Hollow Blocks are innovative masonry units manufactured using crop residues, industrial by-products such as fly ash, alkali-activated slag-based binders, reclaimed excavation soil, and stone-crushing residue.

These sustainable building products are durable, thermally insulating, and suitable for both load-bearing and non-load-bearing construction applications, subject to design requirements.

🔹 Product Specifications
• Solid Agrocrete Bricks: 230 mm × 100 mm × 75 mm, comparable to regular red clay brick sizes.
• Hollow Agrocrete Blocks: 400 mm × 150 mm (length × height), with thickness/width available from 100 mm to 200 mm in 50 mm intervals.

🌿 Salient Features
✅ Manufactured using agricultural residues and industrial by-products
✅ Provides thermal comfort and energy efficiency
✅ Suitable for internal and external wall applications, subject to design requirements
✅ Available in solid brick and hollow block formats for building applications

🏆 Recognition & Field Applications

The agency participated in the Indian Housing Technology Mela (IHTM), organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India, from 5–7 October 2021 at Lucknow. The Hon’ble Prime Minister also visited the agency’s stall. The agency’s system/product was recommended among the top three technologies by the Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) at the IHTM.

🌳 Dhun Project:
At Dhun, a 500-acre development where a desert has been transformed into a forest over the past decade, Agrocrete blocks are being produced on-site using reclaimed excavation soil from the project campus itself, demonstrating a circular approach to sustainable construction.

🏡 Bengaluru Project:
In another project with Ruchira Developers, comprising 113 villas, all triplex villas are constructed using Agrocrete blocks. The total built-up area covered using Agrocrete products is approximately 5.2 lakh sq. ft.

This recognition by BMTPC highlights the potential of innovative, resource-efficient and sustainable building materials in advancing environmentally responsible construction practices. 🌱🏗️
