On International Everest Day, we celebrate the indomitable spirit of BSF’s first all-women mountaineering team, who scaled Mount Everest on 21 May 2026.

Marking the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, the team proudly sang India’s national song atop the world’s highest peak, making this historic achievement even more special and symbolic.

BSF Wushu athlete Durgeshwar Singh has brought laurels to the Nation and the Force by securing the Bronze Medal 🥉 in the 85 kg weight category at the Oceania International Wushu Championship held in Brisbane, Australia from 21–25 May 2026.

His commendable achievement reflects the growing excellence and global footprint of BSF sportspersons in the international sporting arena.
