Ceiling fans are ushering in the winds of change at the heart of Indian ceramic industry Home to 225 ceramic units, Thangadh as an industrial town has seen the most flourishing business in manufacturing and exporting sanitaryware. Shunning traditional ways of manufacturing, the sanitaryware sector is now embracing new technology.

Awareness workshop on solar roof top system was organised on 8th October,2018 at Panchal Ceramic Association hall,Thangadh. Around 60 participants from the cluster participated in the programme.

One day Energy Clinic was organized in Coimbatore foundry cluster on 5th October,2018.In this the unit members have trained on Best practices and Energy Efficiency measures in Induction furnaces and also unit owners and resource persons from the cluster have shared their knowledge, experience and results achieved by them on implementation of EE measure to fellow foundry representatives.

Small and Medium Enterprises are exists in various geographical locations in India, named as clusters. Coimbatore foundry cluster is one of the such cluster covered under this project and the units here are adopting energy efficiency measures enthusiastically. See the news here.

Energy audits help industries transform - Times of India The energy audits being done at a subsidized rate and continuous workshops on energy efficient operations are a result of city-based industrial associ.

The project activities in Kerala Dairy Cluster formally launched by the chief guest Sh. Adv. K. Raju, Hon'ble Minister for Forests, Animal Husbandry and Zoos, Kerala Government on August 10, 2018 at EMC-Kerala.

He also inaugurated the newly established Energy Management Cell, through project support, in the cluster which will boost the energy efficiency drive in the cluster and will be fully utilized by the associate units for carrying out regular energy audits and monitoring energy parameters.

The project is being extended to Kerala Dairy Cluster. Today Hon'ble Minister of Dairy Development, Animal Husbandry, and Forest, Government of Kerala is inaugurating the project.

4th training programme for capacity building of local service providers of Nagaur hand tools cluster is organised. Arround 30 local service providers from the cluster are learnt on various energy efficiency measures that may be incorporated in their services.

These local service providers will help MSME units of Nagaur hand tools cluster to improve their energy performance.
