HUDCO की CSR पहल के अंतर्गत वन विभाग हेतु प्रदत्त 20 फॉरेस्ट बाइक्स, ट्रक्स एवं रेस्क्यू व्हीकल्स को भोपाल में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में माननीय केंद्रीय पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्री श्री भूपेंद्र यादव जी एवं मध्यप्रदेश के माननीय मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव जी द्वारा हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया गया।

यह पहल वन्यजीव संरक्षण, वन क्षेत्रों में प्रभावी निगरानी एवं त्वरित रेस्क्यू प्रतिक्रिया प्रणाली को और अधिक सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में HUDCO की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है।

The 2024 Batch of IAS Assistant Secretaries (Officer Trainees) visited HUDCO as part of their ongoing training at MoHUA to gain exposure to India’s urban development and housing ecosystem.

During the interaction, Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD, shared insights on HUDCO’s journey, key achievements, and its pivotal role in financing sustainable urban infrastructure and affordable housing across the country. The officer trainees also had the opportunity to engage with Directors and senior officials of HUDCO, fostering meaningful discussions on nation-building initiatives in the urban sector.

At the World Urban Forum 13, HUDCO participated in the World Bank–ADB session on “Bankable Municipalities, Liveable Cities”, where Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD, joined sector experts as a panellist to discuss strengthening municipal creditworthiness for financing sustainable urban infrastructure.

Highlighting that the pathway to liveable cities runs through bankable municipalities, CMD emphasised the need to strengthen municipal institutions, unlock private capital and transition from grant-based financing to market-oriented financing.

CMD also underscored Government of India’s Urban Challenge Fund (UCF) as a transformative reform-based initiative. He added HUDCO’s UiWIN initiative could serve as a one-stop solution to create financially resilent and investment-ready municipalities.

The session also featured eminent panellists including Ms. Nasiphi Moya, Executive Mayor, Tshwane, Mr. Srinivas Sampath, Director,ADB, Mr. Dan Dowling, PwC, UK. Mr. Ming Jheng, Global Director, World Bank, in his concluding remarks, lauded initiatives like UCF and UiWIN for their role in making bankable municipalities and liveable cities .

At the India Pavilion during World Urban Forum 13, HUDCO organised an engaging panel discussion on the theme “UiWIN: One-stop Solution for Creating Sustainable & Investible Cities.”

Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD, HUDCO, delivered a detailed presentation highlighting UiWIN’s transformative offerings for sustainable urban infrastructure development and resilient city planning. In his special address, Mr. Stefan Priesner, UN Resident Coordinator, lauded HUDCO for launching UiWIN, stating that along with UCF, it is poised to become a game changer in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat.

The session featured eminent panellists — Mr. Debashish Ghosh, Executive Vice President, iDeck Ltd, Ms. T. K. Sreedevi, Secretary, MUAD, Ms. Angelica Nunez, Global Practice Manager, World Bank, Ms. Teresa Kerber, Project Director, GIZ India and Mr. Norio Saito, Senior Director, ADB, and witnessed engaging discussions and interactive Q&A.

At WUF 13, HUDCO participated in an engaging session themed “From Risk to Resilience – Placing Housing at the Forefront of Climate-Sensitive Planning,” focused on advancing resilient, safe and climate-responsive housing systems for sustainable urban futures.

Addressing global leaders, policymakers and urban experts ,Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD spoke on the need to move beyond housing supply towards resilient and affordable housing integrated with climate-sensitive planning, risk-informed infrastructure and innovative financing mechanisms, including land monetisation.

The panel also featured Mr. Jitendra Sharma Kakoty, Ms. Shabnam Bassi, Dr. Sandile Mbatha, Ms. Sonja Golubovic and Dr. Ali Jamshed.

At WUF13, HUDCO participated in the networking event “Mainstreaming Innovative Financing Mechanisms for Sustainable & Affordable Housing – Lessons from Indian Experience” organised by All India Housing Development Association.

Shri Kuldip Narayan, JS(HFA), MoHUA ,shared insights on affordable housing, inclusive urbanisation and India’s commitment towards Housing for All.

Highlighting HUDCO’s contribution to financing housing for the urban poor, CMD, Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha spoke on cross-subsidization financing models aligned with HUDCO’s motto “Profitability with Social Justice,” while emphasizing innovative financing for inclusive and resilient urban development.

The panel also featured Dr. Debolina Kundu, Dr. Barsha Poricha, Shri Nilesh Rajadhyaksha and Shri Kekhrievor Kevichusa, and was moderated by Ms. Maartje Van Eerd.

The Induction Program for Trainee Officers Batch 2026 has officially commenced at HUDCO’s HSMI, marking the beginning of a two-week comprehensive learning journey for the newly inducted officers.

The programme was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Shri Tekkam Sridhar, Sr ED, Smt Anju Thakur ED (Finance), Smt Vandana Motsara ED (HR)and Smt Varsha Punhani, Head , HSMI.

During the programme, the Trainee Officers will gain in-depth exposure to HUDCO’s operations, organisational structure, vision, mission, core values, financing mechanisms, stakeholder ecosystem, client spectrum, key sectors, and the functioning of various departments across the organisation.
