Farewell Message from Representative of India Shri Sunil Kumar on completion of tenure in Palestine:

Dear friends,

As I complete my tenure as Representative of India to Palestine, I recall my day of arrival more than two years ago. As if it’s yesterday! During my stay in Palestine, wherever I went, in every city, town, village or refugee camp, I was always received with Palestinian hospitality and warmth. My time here has always been enjoyable and exciting.

I also take great pride in the depth and breadth of the deep-rooted relations of our two friendly countries. Our partnership and support to Palestine firmly stem from the values and virtues that our two friendly nations share. For decades, India has steadfastly supported Palestine and the Palestinians. Today, India continues it partnership and support to Palestine’s capacity building and development efforts on various levels.

I will always carry the memories and cherish the great time I had in this wonderful country. Today, as I leave Palestine, I won’t say goodbye, but rather say to all dear friends here, in Arabic:
ILA AL-LIQAA’ “Till we meet again”.
