Today I have spoken to ADG FOD about the attendance problem being faced in different offices of FOD. I told him that it is not possible to comply with the orders in different offices due to restrictions imposed by the State Governments. He assured that this will be taken care of and some order will be issued.

I also appraised him of the problems being face in different offices where leave is being demanded from persons who have come from outside state and are forced to go on quarantine. Such cases have been reported in Chennai and Madurai Regions. He said that he will look into it and leaves should not be deducted.

The matter of TA Bill was also discussed and he said that this was due to the ceiling on expenditure. ADG said that he has written for relaxation on this as it is not possible to continue field work if TA Bills are not being paid.

I have also requested him that leave should not be deducted from persons who are infected by COVID 19 in the line of duty. The period should be treated as on duty. He said that he would get this examined.

: A CEC meeting of AIASO was held in Delhi today. The CEC discussed issues regarding the pending Cadre Review of SSS and decided to meet the Secretary, MOSPI on Monday and request him to expedite the process. It was also decided to meet ADG FOD and discuss the issues relating to FOD especially the matter of overburdening of JSO and SSO. Certain other organisational issues like transfer of share of Central Association in the subscription of members by the Units was also discussed in the meeting.
[ A meeting with representatives of SSOA was also to take place but unfortunately no one turned up for the meeting.
This is all the more unfortunate because We decided to hold CEC meeting as per the convenience of SSOA as they have already circulated their CEC notice among their members but unfortunately they have postponed their meeting and said that they would have informal discussion with us. However they did not turn up for that too.

Met the CSI and Secretary (S and PI) on the matter of harassment of JSOs in field perticularly in Dehradun yesterday. He called ADG FOD and directed him to send a report on the matter immediately. He also instructed ADG to draft at letter from Secy S and PI to Secy MHA requesting him to issue directions to all DGPs to facilitate the surveys in field. All Police Stations will also be intimated about the ongoing surveys and protection of field officials would be ensured.

Govt. advocate sought 8 weeks time to reply of our rejoinder our advocate oppose it Judge took strong view already inordinate delay in matter maximum two weeks can given, Govt. advocate keep on insisting for 8 weeks time , however Hon. Judge has given 3 weeks time whether they submit reply or not there will be no further extension, on 27-2-2019 will final hearing of this as he dictate the matter
