On April 25th, 2026, the Embassy of Peru in India proudly participated in the celebration of Día E (Day of the Spanish Language) and World Book Day, organized by the Instituto Cervantes in New Delhi, alongside fellow Ibero-American embassies.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore the vibrant stand of Peru, featuring traditional handicrafts, textiles, and a captivating photo collage showcasing the country’s diverse cultural expressions. A special tribute was also dedicated to Nobel Laureate Mario Vargas Llosa, with a display of his novels and literary works highlighting his remarkable contributions to Spanish-language literature. Guests also savoured the rich flavours of Peruvian gastronomy, enjoying traditional delights such as veg Causa and Alfajores.

The Peruvian stand offered a colourful and immersive experience, fostering cultural exchange and leaving visitors with a deeper appreciation of Peru’s literary and cultural legacy. 🇵🇪🎉

On April 2nd, the Embassy of Peru participated with notable success in the tenth edition of the Global Fashion and Design Week in Noida, a prestigious annual event that brings together fashion designers, artists, industry professionals, and enthusiasts from around the world to foster the exchange of ideas, collaboration, and development within the fashion and design industry.

The Embassy of Peru’s participation featured the presentation of five traditional outfits from various regions of the country. These were modelled by students from the renowned Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) on a runway before an audience of over 300 attendees, including members of the diplomatic corps, fashion designers, journalists, and students in related fields.

Additionally, Indian designer showcased collections inspired by Peru, incorporating a modern twist. The exhibition of these outfits was met with great enthusiasm and acclaim from the audience.

On Wednesday, 18th March 2026, the Embassy of Peru in India, in coordination with the Bar Nero at Hotel Le Méridien, New Delhi, successfully hosted “Pisco Time in Delhi”, an exclusive evening celebrating Peruvian culture.

The event was graced by Dr. Aman Puri, Joint Secretary (South America Division), Ministry of External Affairs, along with distinguished members of the consular corps, entrepreneurs, culinary experts, cocktail specialists, academics, and members of the press.

Over 120 guests enjoyed Peru’s iconic Pisco Sour, accompanied by traditional dishes such as causa and ceviche, including vegetarian options.

An evening of vibrant exchange, the event highlighted the richness of Peru’s cultural heritage while strengthening ties and fostering new connections.

Se ponen a disposición de la comunidad peruana en el exterior los carteles oficiales de candidatos correspondientes a la elección de Presidente y Vicepresidentes de la República, así como de Senadores, Diputados y Representantes ante el Parlamento Andino. De conformidad con la Ley Orgánica de Elecciones, estos carteles contienen la relación oficial de candidatos y son difundidos con la finalidad de mantener informada a la ciudadanía previo al proceso electoral.

The official candidate lists for the election of the President and Vice Presidents of the Republic, as well as Senators, Deputies, and Representatives to the Andean Parliament, are hereby made available to the Peruvian community abroad.

In accordance with the Organic Law of Elections, these lists contain the official roster of candidates and are published with the aim of keeping citizens informed ahead of the electoral process.

On February 9, 2026, the Ambassador of Peru to India, H.E. Mr. Javier Paulinich, attended a reception held in the honor of the Ambassador of the United States of America to India, H.E. Mr. Sergio Gor. The event highlighted the strong diplomatic ties and continued dialogue between Peru and the United States.
