On the occasion of the 60th anniversary celebrations of the Centre of Russian Studies, JNU organized the opening ceremony of the Cultural Week in the gracious presence of the Dean of Students, Prof. Manuradha Chaudhary, Chairperson of the Centre, Prof. Kiran Singh Verma, along with faculty members, delegates, and students.

The Dean of Students, JNU, Prof. Manuradha Chaudhary, inaugurated the Kathak Workshop on 13th October 2025. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Cultural Committee Coordinator, Prof. Ranjana Banerjee, along with faculty members and students.

The Kathak Workshop has been organized to promote awareness and appreciation of India’s rich classical dance heritage among the university community and to encourage students to actively engage with the country’s vibrant cultural traditions.

On the eve of Independence Day, the NSS Unit of Jawaharlal Nehru University organized a vibrant Tiranga March 🇮🇳 under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. Faculty members, staff, and students came together to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and unity. As part of the campaign, the Tiranga was installed at various residences, spreading the message of national pride and collective responsibility.

NSS, JNU organized a Plantation Drive to promote environmental sustainability and foster ecological awareness within the university community.
