Our Hon’ble Collector & District Magistrate, Smt. Ila Tripathi, IAS, inaugurated the NCD screening camp at IDOC, Nizamabad in the presence of DM&HO, Dr.B.Rajasree, MBBS, DGO. The camp is aimed at screening IDOC employees for non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

Eat Right, Walk Right! 🚶‍♂️

As part of Food Safety Day, an “Eat Right” Walkathon was organized at the BC Welfare Hostel, Nizamabad, to create awareness in the community about the importance of healthy and safe eating habits.

The initiative aimed to encourage people to adopt balanced diets and promote a healthier lifestyle.

As per the directives of the Hon’ble Collector & District Magistrate, the District Medical & Health Officer, Dr. B. Rajasree, MBBS, DGO, participated in the Gram Sabha at GP Ghanpur of Dichpally Mandal as a Special Officer representing the district.

The community was encouraged to utilize essential health services provided by the government. Regular screening and free treatment for pregnant women, timely immunization for children, and health check-ups for individuals above 30 years were emphasized. Services such as palliative care for bedridden patients, malnutrition management through SAM/MAM programs, and specialist consultations at hospitals were highlighted.

Awareness was also created on preventing mosquito-borne diseases, maintaining sanitation, and taking precautions during summer to avoid heat stroke. Overall, people were advised to adopt healthy lifestyles, participate in health awareness programs, and make full use of the available healthcare services.

Press meet was organised by District Medical & Health officer, Dr.B.Rajasree Madam, Nizamabad, to spread information regarding upcoming HPV vaccination to the Adolescent girls. The vaccine will be inaugurated by Hon'ble Collecor & District Magistrate Smt. Ila Tripathi Madam on March 8th.

A talk was organised at All India Radio-Nizamabad Station, with the aim of creating awareness in the community about the efficacy and importance of HPV Vaccine. The vaccine inauguration is going to happen in Nizamabad by Hon'ble Collector & Dist. Magistrate Smt.Ila Tripathi on International Women's Day - 8th of March.
