On 05.11.2020, NMRC celebrated its 6th foundation day at NMRC Depot, Greater Noida.
The programme witnessed the motivational address by Mrs. Ritu Maheshwari, MD (NMRC) where she highlighted and appraised the hard work and dedication of NMRC employees.
On the ocassion, Senior officials of NMRC Shri Praveen Mishra, ED (NMRC), Mrs. Kalpana Saxena, Commandant (49th PAC Battalion), Shri Pankaj Malhotra, CFO (NMRC), Shri R.K. Saxena, COO (NMRC), Shri Manoj Vajpayee, GM Technical (NMRC) were also present.
The programme included the award distribution to the Outstanding Performers of the year 2019-20 and also cultural programme prepared by the in-house talent of NMRC. Newly inducted members of Pride Station were also given the commendation certificate for their hardwork and determination.

NMRC today inaugurated sector 50 metro station of Aqua Line Corridor as "Pride Station" signifying inclusion of persons from Transgender Community in NMRC family.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. Mahesh Kumar Sharma, Hon'ble Member of Parliament, GBN, Shri Pankaj Singh, MLA, Noida, Mrs. Ritu Maheshwari, MD, NMRC, Shri Praveen Mishra, ED, NMRC.
On the occasion formal appointment letter(s) were given to 6 transgender employees appointed to work at Sector 50 metro station on contract basis.

NMRC TO COMMENCE OPERATIONS FROM 7TH SEPTEMBER, 2020
In line with the decision of Govt. of India, NMRC is all set to commence its operations once again from Monday, 7th September, 2020.
The commuters may note that initially the metro will run with reduced operational timings i.e. 7AM to 11AM and 5 PM to 9 PM from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays the Noida Metro services will be available from 8AM to 11AM and 5PM to 9PM.
Passengers may note that Face Mask and Aarogya Setu App shal be compulsory to travel in Noida Metro and only passengers with Green Status in Aarogya Setu app will be allowed.
Proper social distancing norms shall be ensured at the Metro Station i.e. at least 1 metre at frisking zones, platform and TOM Counters and gap of at least one step at escalators.

NMRC Feeder buses have been deployed to carry food packets and to distribute it amongst the less privileged in Noida.
Noida Authority has opened community kitchens at at 5 location in Noida
1. Noida Jal Department, Harola, Noida
2. Community Centre, Mamoora
3. Community Centre, Sorkha, Zahidabad
4. Community Centre, Bhangel, Begumpur
5. Shani Mandir, Sector 14 A
This noble step has been taken up to ensure that no person stays hungry without food.
Distribution of food is done twice a day – in the morning and evening. NMRC has deployed 8 buses for this purpose to provide the food packets at various locations in Noida.

NMRC METRO AND BUS SERVICES TO REMAIN CLOSED TILL 14TH APRIL 2020 FOR PUBLIC.
In view of the 21-day lockdown implemented by the Government of India and efforts being made by Government of Uttar Pradesh and Noida Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (NMRC) to prevent the spread of the Covid 19 Corona Virus, it is hereby informed that all Metro and Bus Services of NMRC will remain closed till 14th April 2020.

NMRC EMPLOYEES DONATE TWO DAY’S BASIC SALARY, CONTRIBUTE Rs. 11 LAKHS TO CM’s RELIEF FUND
Noida Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (NMRC) has contributed 11 Lakhs (Rupees Eleven Lakhs) to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund. The amount was collected after NMRC employees decided to donate their two day’s basic salary. The cheque was personally handed over to Shri Yogi Adityanath, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh by Mrs. Ritu Maheshwari, Managing Director / NMRC and CEO Noida Authority today at the Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida.

NOIDA METRO CANCELS ALL METRO TRAIN AND BUS SERVICES TILL 31ST MARCH 2020
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and efforts being made by Govt of India and Govt of UP to fight with the same, Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) will not run its train services up to 31st March 2020. NMRC's City Bus Service will also not be available till 31st March 2020.

Kindly note that tomorrow i.e. Sunday, 22nd March, 2020, the Train Service and City Bus Services will remain suspended in order to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
Further, the the train schedule for 23rd March 2020 i.e. Monday will be as below:
1. 6 AM to 8 AM - Trains and City Bus Services will ply at a frequency of 20 minutes
2. 8 AM to 10 AM - The frequency of trains will be as normal i.e. 7.5 minutes.
3. 10 AM to 4 PM - There will be no train and bus service
4. 4 PM to 8 PM - The frequency of trains will be as normal i.e. 7.5 minutes.
5. 8 PM - Last service will be available from terminal stations.
Important Advisory by NMRC
1. Use Metro for essential travel only.
2. Maintain social distancing: Please maintain at least 1 metre distance from each other while travelling in the Metro or at the station i.e. STANDING PASSENGERS NOT ALLOWED and ALTERNATE SEATS BE LEFT VACANT.
3. Follow Govt. Advisory : In course of the journey and stay within the Metro premises, passengers are requested to follow the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India from time to time to contain the spread of Corona Virus.
4. Any passenger who has symptoms similar to those infected by COVID–19 virus are strictly advised to avoid travel by the Metro or any other mode of public transport
