In a step towards strengthening efficient waste management and advancing the vision of Swachh Bharat, GAIL Gas Limited, under its CSR programme, handed over 5 CNG-powered garbage tippers to Nagar Nigam Meerut.

The fleet was flagged off by Dr. V. K. Singh, DM Meerut, in the presence of Shri Saurabh Gangwar, Municipal Commissioner; Ms. Lavi Tripathi, Additional Municipal Commissioner, and Shri Vinay Kumar, GM (CGD), GAIL Gas Limited.

GAIL Gas has inaugurated an advanced system for automation of receipts and collections at CNG stations through SBI POS and QR code integration with its SAP platform, marking a first-of-its-kind collaboration with SBI within the GAIL Group of companies.
This milestone achievement was accomplished in the presence of Shri. Ashu Singhal -CEO, Shri. Amit Jhalani - CFO of GAIL Gas Limited, and other members of State Bank of India and GAIL (India) Limited.
This initiative marks a new chapter in GAIL Gas’ digital transformation journey, driving greater operational efficiency, transparency, and seamless transaction management.

GAIL Gas Limited proudly celebrated our 19th Foundation Day on 27th May 2026, marking an important milestone in its journey of delivering clean and sustainable energy solutions.

As per the Government notification dated 25th May 2026, households with an active PNG connection are required to discontinue their domestic LPG connection. Within 30 days of obtaining PNG, consumers must either surrender their LPG connection or obtain a Transfer Voucher for future LPG eligibility in non-PNG areas.
