Ugta Suraj celebrated the festival with the message of love and respect among the people.
From making of Rakhis to tying the threads of love, the children were happy and looked forward to celebrations at home!

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞: 𝐊𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢'𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲!

Nine year old Khushi, a young girl from Haldoni, was burdened with household chores and caring for her sisters due to her family's financial struggles. Despite her eagerness to learn, she couldn't attend school. That was when an education outreach team discovered her family and introduced them to the Ugta Suraj Center, a free educational haven.
Inspired, Khushi's parents enrolled her in the center, and she began attending classes on June 2. With dedication and enthusiasm, Khushi seized this opportunity. For the first time, she had access to quality education in a safe environment.
Khushi's journey is a testament to the power of community engagement and free educational initiatives. With continued support, she now has the chance to dream, learn, and build a better future for herself and her family. The spark of hope has been lit, and Khushi's future looks brighter with every passing day.

Harsh*ta with a shy smile: Ready for the first Step!
Nine years old Harsh*ta, lives with her parents, two brothers and a sister in village Tughalpur in Greater Noida. While her father is a casual labour, her mother is a domestic help in someone's house.
While the parents went for work, Harsh*ta looked after the younger siblings at home. As a result, Harsh*ta could never go to school.
During the community survey in May 2024, we spotted Harsh*ta and convinced her parents to enroll at our Ugta Suraj Center. Harsh*ta spent one year at the centre, learning and playing with other children. In May 2025, we took her to Gyan Jyoti Public School, a local neighbourhood school in the community.
Now Harsh*ta's morning begins with a march to school, looking forward to new friends and new learnings.

Igniting Young Minds Through Comics!

Comics aren't just fun—they're powerful tools for change!
During a pilot project across 10 government schools in Noida, the children explored critical questions such as -
- Why are children married off?
- How do we ensure every child goes to school?
Thanks to the inspiring Himmatwale Sonu Monu, comics these young minds are now questioning, learning, and raising their voices against child abuse and violence.

"Empowering Dilshad: A Story of Education"
Meet Dilshad, a 12 year old boy who has been forced out of school due to his parent's financial struggles.
His father an auto driver is absent and his mother, a cook struggles to make ends meet leaving Dilshad without the means to continue his education.
During our community survey, we met Dilshad and informed his mother about Ugta Suraj Nithari Center and assured her that we would provide him education and support, paving the way for a brighter future.
We're delighted to share that Dilshad has taken a significant step forward by being admitted to a government school in class 8.

"Empowering Kajal: A Story of Education"

Meet Kajal Kumari, a 11-year-old girl was out of school due to her parents daily struggles. During our community survey, we discovered that Kajal wasn't attending school and lacked basic knowledge. Her family has financial challenges.

Fortunately, Ugta Suraj stepped in, providing Kajal with access to education and support. Despite the odds, Kajal showed remarkable resilience and determination, gradually rebuilding her educational foundation.

Later, we secured her admission to a government school in Class 6, where she's now happily attending.

Cheers to Kajal's safe and happy childhood, continued success and a future full of possibilities.
