NIESBUD has commenced a 15-day Training of Trainers (TOT) Programme on Entrepreneurship Development for Community Resource Persons (CRPs) at SIRD, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, from 6th to 20th April 2026, under the MSDE–MoRD convergence initiative.

From silkworm to startup — NIESBUD concludes 15-day EDP on Sericulture and Silk Value Chain.
NIESBUD in association with Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, today concluded an intensive training programme for 25 entrepreneurs from nine states and UTs. Participants presented their business plans at the valedictory session, graced by Chief Guest Ms. Rimple Jindal, entrepreneur and owner of Mayura Textiles.

Brigadier Vikash Batra, Additional Director General (DGR), paid a visit to the NIESBUD (National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development), Noida campus on 30 March 2026, inspecting the classes of three ongoing programmes under the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR).
Brigadier Batra engaged directly with participants, gathered their feedback, and discussed the programmes in detail — underscoring the DGR's commitment to ensuring quality training and meaningful outcomes for programme participants.

Participants of the International Training Programme on Integrated Rehabilitation Care of Spinal Cord Injuries (A Multidisciplinary Approach for Doctors), organised by NIESBUD in collaboration with ISIC Multispeciality Hospital, New Delhi under the ITEC Programme of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, undertook an educational visit to Agra.
The delegation explored industrial units, interacted with industry representatives on enterprise operations, and visited the iconic Taj Mahal and Agra Fort — experiencing the best of India's industrial spirit and cultural heritage.
