A proud and meaningful day for women’s protection, rehabilitation and empowerment as Kangra District’s first Shakti Sadan (Swadhar Grih) was inaugurated at Suggal by Shri Hem Raj Bairwa, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kangra.

The initiative of Palampur Rotary Helpage Foundation, in association with the Department of Women & Child Development, Kangra, will provide women in difficult circumstances with safe shelter, care, counselling, legal support and opportunities for self-reliance.
🙏 A significant Rotary-led step towards dignity, safety, empowerment and a new beginning for women.

🌱 Planting Trees, Preserving Memories 🌱

In loving memory of Late Rotarian Subhash Jagota, Rotary Club Palampur organized a tree plantation drive at the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Palampur.

A true nature lover, Rtn. Subhash Jagota inspired countless environmental initiatives through his dedication and service. As we planted saplings today, we also renewed our commitment to protect and nurture our environment—keeping his vision alive for generations to come.

“The best tribute to a nature lover is to make the Earth greener.” 🌿
