Had a meaningful interaction with those who have spent a lifetime being a part of Panjim’s story, listening to their thoughts and spending some time together. Their experiences and perspective bring a valuable dimension to these conversations.

The Senior Citizen Park is an important space for them to come together, spend time in one another’s company and enjoy a sense of belonging. We spoke about a few thoughtful additions that can make the park more comfortable, including additional benches, while keeping the space welcoming for everyone who uses it.

The warmth and affection they bring to these interactions is always special. Seeing their happiness when their suggestions are heard and followed through is deeply satisfying, and their trust and blessings are something I truly cherish.

A simple idea, rooted in the belief that reaching court should not become another difficulty for someone already going through a challenging time, has now taken shape.

The collaboration between GoaMiles and Stop Child Abuse Now (Scan-Goa) will provide free and confidential transport to victims of crime and vulnerable children travelling from their homes to court and back. It is a practical form of support that can make an important difference to victims and their families as they navigate the judicial process.

I am grateful to Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Shri Mauvin Godinho Ji for taking this forward and helping bring the idea to fruition. My appreciation also to GoaMiles and SCAN Goa for coming together to make this support available to those who need it.

For me, the value of this initiative lies in addressing a very real need with something simple and practical. I hope it brings some ease to families going through difficult circumstances and reaches many more people across Goa.

Sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha at the YUVA Panaji’s Ganeshotsav, and had the opportunity to felicitate the winners of the Ganesha-themed painting competition.

It was heartening to see the creativity and thought reflected in the entries, with the young participants expressing their devotion through art while celebrating the traditions associated with Ganeshotsav.

Heartiest congratulations to all the winners, and appreciation to every participant who took part in the competition. Such efforts add a meaningful dimension to our celebrations while encouraging creativity among the younger generation.

Spent time with the residents of Kamat Classic Colony, listening to their concerns and understanding some of the everyday challenges they experience within the neighbourhood.

The discussion covered matters relating to parking and access, cleanliness and the upkeep of common spaces. While these may appear to be small civic concerns individually, they have a direct bearing on the ease and convenience of daily life for those living in the area.

Conversations like these are important because they provide a first-hand understanding of how residents experience their neighbourhood and the practical issues that require attention. The inputs shared during the discussion provide a useful perspective on the areas that need greater focus.

Goa’s hospitality industry has grown into a diverse and dynamic ecosystem, supported by a wide network of businesses that contribute to the experience our state offers to visitors.
