Inauguration of Next Generation Post Office at Sandip University, Nashik
With a vision to bring digital, inclusive and citizen-centric postal services to the heart of academia, the Next Generation Post Office was inaugurated at Sandip University, Nashik on 24th July, 2026. It is the first N Gen Post office of Navi Mumbai Region (Maharashtra ).
The ceremonial ribbon was cut by Ms. Suchita Joshi, in the gracious presence of Dr. Sandip Jha. The occasion was marked by enthusiasm from faculty, students and dignitaries of India Post and the University.
This modern facility is designed to deliver seamless services — from speed post, parcels and e-commerce to postal banking and digital payments — all under one roof. Other facilities like Parcel packaging, Free WiFi, library, mobile charging station, activity tables and game zone remained the main attraction for Gen Z youth. The students shared their ideas and emotions through Postcards with their near-ones in "Digital Detox" campeign.
The establishment of this Post Office within the campus reflects the shared commitment of India Post and Sandip University to empower youth with accessible services, foster financial literacy, and bridge the gap between tradition and technology.
It stands as a symbol of Seva, Sampark and Smart Governance.
