80th Independence Day Celebrated at IED Project Office, Dharamshala H.P.

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic spirit at the IED Project Office, Dharamshala, where the DGR Pre-Release Course – ESDP under Smart City Command and Control is currently being conducted.

The celebration included a Flag Hoisting Ceremony and National Anthem, attended by 45 JCOs and OR's personnel from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force, along with trainers and programme coordinators.

🎓 Closing Ceremony | DGR Pre-Release Course – Warehouse Manager (70-04-2026) | IEDUP Project Office, Shimla

The DGR-sponsored Pre-Release Course (PRC) on Warehouse Manager (Course No. 70-04-2026), conducted under the aegis of the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, concluded successfully at the IEDUP Project Office, Shimla, with 27 JCOs/ORs successfully completing the programme.

The Closing Ceremony was held on 31 July 2026, where Col. Bharat Chandani, ARTRAC Command, Shimla (H.P.) delivered the Closing Address, motivating the participants for their second career. During the ceremony, Certificates and Prizes were also distributed to the successful participants.

The programme was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Vinod Shukla, Chief Coordinator, IEDUP, Lucknow.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Regional Head, IEDUP; Mr. Harsh Kumar, Assistant Manager (Trainings); and Mr. Mamraj Sharma, Campus Head, IEDUP Project Office, Shimla.

IED Shimla successfully conducted the Final Assessment and Evaluation of the PRC Warehouse Manager Course (Course ID: 70-04-2026) today. The assessment was conducted by Yuva Skill Foundation, an assessment agency approved by DGET and NCVET, Government of India.

A total of 27 JCOs/ORs of the Indian Armed Forces appeared for the assessment. The evaluation was carried out smoothly, assessing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in warehouse management. The successful completion of the assessment marks another significant step in equipping ex-servicemen with industry-relevant skills for better career opportunities after retirement.

Inaugural Session on 24 July 2026 | DGR-PRC Course – ESDP under Smart City Command & Control at IED Project Office Dharamshala

IEDUP Dharamshala organized the Inaugural Session of the DGR–Pre-Release Course (PRC) – *ESDP under Smart City Command & Control on 24 July 2026.*

The 14-week course, commenced on 13 July 2026, is being attended by 44 JCOs/ORs from the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force and will conclude on 16 December 2026.

Lt Col Angad Singh Behl, SM, Joint Director DRZ North, joined the session virtually and addressed the participants, highlighting the importance and benefits of the programme and encouraging them to actively participate throughout the course.The programme was conducted under the guidance and supervision of Mr. Vinod Shukla Ji, Chief Coordinator, IEDUP Lucknow.

Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Regional Coordinator, IEDUP, delivered the vote of thanks to the Joint Director, DRZ North, and the participants. He also briefed the participants on the programme, its importance, and the applicable rules and regulations. The session was attended by the participants and the IEDUP Dharamshala team.

The DGR-sponsored Pre-Release Course (PRC) on Fire Safety, conducted under the aegis of the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, was successfully completed at IEDUP Project Office, Shimla, with 45 JCOs/ORs successfully completing the training programme.

The Virtual Closing Address was delivered on 10 June 2026 by Col. Angad Singh Behl, Joint Director, DRZ North, who motivated the participants and appreciated their commitment towards skill development and second career opportunities.

During the Closing Ceremony, Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Regional Head, IEDUP, distributed certificates to the successful candidates. The event was attended by Mr. Mamraj Sharma, Campus Head, IEDUP Project Office Shimla, and Mr. Shishupal, Assistant Manager (Training).

The DGR-sponsored Pre-Release Course (PRC) on Stock Marketing, conducted under the aegis of the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, was successfully completed at IEDUP Project Office, Dharamshala.

A total of 39 JCOs/ORs successfully completed the training programme and received their certificates during the Closing Ceremony.

The event was graced by Col. Ramesh Ranwa, Headquarters 33 Mountain Brigade, McLeodganj, Dharamshala, and attended by Mr. Anurag Mathur, Training & Research Associate (TRA), IEDUP Lucknow, Mr. Harsh Kumar, Assistant Manager, IEDRC, Ms. Manu Dhiman, Campus Head, IED Project Office Dharamshala, along with faculty members and the campus team.

Today, 08-06-2026, the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED),Dharamshala successfully completed the assessment for the PRC Program (Batch No. 550-03-2026) of Stock Marketing.

The assessment was conducted by Mr. Anupam Joshi from the authorized assessment agency, Yuva Skill Foundation. A total of 39 candidates appeared and were assessed successfully.

The assessment process was carried 1 out smoothly as per the prescribed guidelines and standards.

A total of 45 candidates successfully appeared for the assessment. The evaluation focused on participants' knowledge and practical skills related to fire safety, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety practices.

On dated 08-06-2026, Institute of Entrepreneirship Development, IED Shimla successfully completed the assessment of the PRC Training Programme on Fire Safety (549-03-2026). The assessment was conducted by Rajat Kumar Anand, Assessor from Yuva Skill Foundation.
A total of 45 candidates appeared for the assessment.

The assessment process was conducted smoothly and efficiently, evaluating the participants' knowledge and practical understanding of fire safety measures, emergency response procedures, and workplace safety practices.
