🌳 Planting today for a greener tomorrow. 🌿

As an initiative for the future and to create greater awareness about the importance of preserving nature, Village Panchayat Parra has begun planting Banyan tree saplings at various locations across our village.

The Banyan, India’s National Tree, is more than just a tree. Over generations, it can provide immense shade and shelter, support cleaner air, and become a thriving habitat for birds, animals and countless other living beings. Trees like the Banyan and Peepal are a gift we plant today for the generations that will come after us. 🌱🕊️🐦

We encourage residents who have suitable space in their compounds, fields or surrounding areas to come forward and request Banyan or Peepal saplings from the Panchayat. Together, we can increase Parra’s green cover and create natural spaces that will continue to benefit our community for generations. 🌳

This is only a beginning. 🌿

Let us plant more, protect more and preserve more, while building greater awareness that progress should never come at the cost of our natural environment.

“Development must coexist with nature.”
— Daniel Lobo, Sarpanch, Village Panchayat Parra

🌳 A small initiative today. A lasting legacy for tomorrow.

🇮🇳 Together for Parra — A Success Story! 🌿

This Independence Day, the Village Panchayat Parra, in association with RC Enviro Services, brought the community together for a meaningful cause — an E-Waste Collection & Clothes Donation Drive. ♻️❤️

With the overwhelming support of our community, 50+ Porrikars participated, contributing more than 350 kg of clean clothes for distribution to those in need. The collected e-waste will be sent to an authorised recycler for responsible and environmentally sound disposal.

From awareness and collection to community participation and giving, this initiative showed what we can achieve when we come together for our village. 🇮🇳

Clean Parra. Green Parra. Strong Community. Better Tomorrow. 🌱

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, contributed and helped make this initiative a success. Together, we can build a cleaner, greener and more caring Parra. 💚
