ਅੱਜ ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ. ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ-ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ 8 ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 15 ਨਾਜਾਇਜ਼ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਅਤੇ 15 ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਮੰਗਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਸ ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ।

ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਥਾਣਾ ਕੈਂਟ, ਇਸਲਾਮਾਬਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਛੇਹਰਟਾ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਪੂਰੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨਾਜਾਇਜ਼ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਤੇ ਵੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।

Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused were allegedly linked to foreign-based arms smugglers and were procuring illegal weapons for further distribution to criminal elements. Investigation has also revealed links of the accused with other associates involved in the illegal arms supply network.

Separate FIRs have been registered at PS Cantonment, PS Islamabad & PS Chheharta, Amritsar. Further investigation is underway to uncover the complete backward and forward linkages and identify other persons involved.

Punjab Police remains committed to maintaining strict vigil against illegal arms trafficking and organised criminal networks and taking firm action against those involved in the illegal supply and circulation of weapons.

ਐਂਟੀ-ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਟਾਸਕ ਫੋਰਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਦੋ ਕਾਰਕੁਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਗਲੌਕ 9mm ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਅਤੇ 20 ਜਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੈਂਡਲਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਵਸੂਲਣ ਦੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਨਾਲ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ/ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਾਇਰਿੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਟਾਸਕ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਯੋਜਨਾਬੱਧ ਫਾਇਰਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਵਾਰਦਾਤ ਟਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਥਾਣਾ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਨੰਬਰ 8, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਐੱਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ. ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused were in contact with foreign-based handlers and had been assigned a target in the Chandigarh/Mohali area to carry out firing in connection with extortion. Their timely arrest prevented the planned firing incident.

An FIR has been registered at PS Division No. 08, Ludhiana. Further investigation is underway.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸਫੋਟਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ AK-47 ਰਾਈਫ਼ਲ, ਇੱਕ ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨ, ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ ਅਤੇ 2 ਹੈਂਡ ਗ੍ਰਨੇਡ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ।

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਦੋ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, 4 ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ, 10 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਅਤੇ 10 ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਥਾਣਾ ਘਰਿੰਡਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਦੋ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪੂਰੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਸੂਬਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਅਡੋਲ ਹੈ।

Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused are allegedly linked to foreign-based smugglers and are involved in procuring illegal weapons & narcotics.

Two separate FIRs registered at PS Gharinda, Amritsar. Further investigation is underway to uncover the complete network and establish the backward and forward linkages.
