A 2003-batch IAS officer with over two decades of experience in public administration, she currently leads key initiatives focused on women’s empowerment and strengthening welfare systems in Bihar.

An alumna of St. Stephen’s College and a Chevening Gurukul Scholar at the London School of Economics, she will share insights governance, leadership, and inclusive growth, with a special focus on women’s participation in governance, strengthening their role in decision-making and promoting women-led leadership in public administration and development at the event.

Under the Women and Child Development Corporation, a five-day training programme was successfully organized from 23–27 February 2026 for all District Mission Coordinators, Gender Specialists, and Financial Literacy Specialists at the district level under the Hub for Empowerment of Women. The programme was conducted through Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD), Gaya.

The training was undertaken by WCDC to strengthen grassroots implementation by enhancing gender sensitivity and promoting effective convergence, thereby ensuring impactful and coordinated efforts towards women’s empowerment across districts.
