Startup Cells across 38 districts of Bihar successfully organised the Startup Bihar Idea Bootcamp 2026 on 29th September 2026.

The bootcamp focused on empowering budding entrepreneurs with key insights on Idea Validation, Product Development, Funding Support, Market Access, Legal & IP Guidance, and Mentorship under Startup Bihar.

The next Startup Bihar Sectoral Startup Meet brings together startups working in EdTech and SkillTech for an open and meaningful exchange of ideas, challenges, experiences, and opportunities.

Entrepreneurship is now reaching every district of Bihar!

Under the TEJAS initiative of DPIIT, Startup India, district-level workshops have been organized across 11 districts of Bihar to inspire students and youth to think startup, think innovation.

Highlights of the Event:
- 11 Districts Covered: Aurangabad, Begusarai, Gaya, Jamui, Katihar, Khagaria, Muzaffarpur, Nawada, Purnia, Sheikhpura & Sitamarhi
- 5,500+ Participants Reached
- 500+ Average Participation per District

From Nawada to Purnia, Gaya to Muzaffarpur - we have seen incredible energy in engineering colleges, polytechnics, ITIs and colleges. The Gaya workshop alone saw 800+ participants!

The mission is simple - take entrepreneurship beyond Patna, and show our youth the schemes, funding support, and mentorship available to turn their ideas into reality.

SSU Team Exposure Visit | Startup Bihar

Startup Bihar organised an exposure visit for its newly hired Startup Support Unit (SSU) team on 26 September 2026, providing practical exposure to Bihar’s technology, innovation, incubation and industrial ecosystem.

The team engaged in detailed interactions and on-ground learning across technology and prototyping, incubation, irradiation, industrial manufacturing, e-mobility, agri-tech and milk processing ecosystems.

The exposure will help strengthen the SSU team’s understanding of the ecosystem and enable more effective engagement with startups, industries, incubators and other ecosystem stakeholders.
