Hindu girl gang-raped by in-laws, killed after she refuses to convert to Islam

A 6 yr old boy was in the market with his 4 yr old sister. Suddenly the boy found that his sister was lagging behind. He stopped and looked back. His sister was standing in front of a toy shop and was watching something with great interest.

The boy took out all the shells that he had collected from sea shore, from his pocket and gave them to the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper took the shells and started counting as if he were counting the currency. Then he looked at the boy. The boy asked him worriedly, “Is it less?”

The shopkeeper said, “No, No… These are more than the cost. So I will return the remaining.” Saying so, he kept only 4 shells with him and returned the remaining.

The boy, very happily kept those shells back in his pocket and went away with his sister.

A servant in that shop got very surprised watching all these. He asked his master, “Sir ! You gave away such a costly doll just for 4 shells ???”

The shopkeeper said with a smile, “Well, for us these are mere shells.

But for that boy, these shells are very precious. And at this age he does not understand what money is, but when he will grow up, he definitely will. And when he would remember that he purchased a doll with the Shells instead of Money, he will remember me and think that world is full of Good people.

It will help him develop a positive attitude and he too in turn will feel motivated to be Good.”

Whatever emotion you infuse into the world, it will further spread.

If you do good, goodness will spread.

If you do bad, negativity will spread.

Your good or bad will come back to you magnified.

Should a student drop 1 year after 12th :

This is one of the most frequently asked questions in the career related discussions around this time of the year. Lakhs of students appear in JEE or PMT or other entrance exams and a few thousand get selected. The rest think about dropping a year either to get the college of their choice or to get into the course of their choice.
So, in my opinion - work out alternatives and make peace rather than focusing on a single goal. Life seldom pans out the way one has planned or aspired for. you should drop 1 year after 12th only when you are absolutely sure about your career choice and selection next year or when you had a very valid reason for non selection this year like you wasted 2 months in hospital due to health issues. Else it is advisable to make an alternative career plan.
Course choice should take precedence over college choice. So dropping just because you did not get the college of your choice may not be correct. Tag of a good college may get you your first job but success in your career will come if you know your work and enjoy that work. That will come by doing the right course that matches with your strengths.it may seem like a life altering decision at this point in life for you, their will be plenty of moments in life that you will have a chance to prove yourself. Just going to a 'brand-name' engineering college doesn't cut it. You need to work hard, work with passion through life to make something out of it. I have seen really stupid engineers from Tag college and really good ones that did not go to a brand-name college. They made up for it with their diligence, passion and hard work.
You can get a Masters later if you are unsure of what you want to do now. If you do well in your Bachelors, you will have good opportunities to study further later.
The bottom line for me, go ahead with the best you're able to get the college right now, and then work hard in the next few years in college. I am sure u'll be doing great :)
