"Protecting the Future of Children, Not Punishing the Past"

A welcome judgment reinforcing the spirit of the Juvenile Justice Act. Children in conflict with the law deserve opportunities for rehabilitation, education, and employment—not lifelong punishment for mistakes made during adolescence.

How can we make children’s needs a political interest?

Children may not have a vote, but they do have a future. ❤️

Every day, millions of poor and orphan children remain unheard simply because they have no political influence. Their struggles often stay invisible, not because they are less important, but because they cannot raise their voices where decisions are made.

As a society, we must create awareness, responsibility, and collective political interest for children — so they are listened to, cared for, protected, and given equal opportunities to grow with dignity.

A nation’s true progress is measured by how it treats its children.

Let’s stand for every child who deserves education, safety, healthcare, love, and a brighter future.

🌱 Being a Bihari… a thought from the heart.

We produce some of the finest minds in every field.

Yet, how many of us come back to work for our own Bihar?

We often say:
❌ “There is no money”
❌ “The system is weak”
❌ “Life is difficult”
❌ “There is no civic sense”
❌ " And so many reasons...."

But let’s ask ourselves honestly…

👉 How many of us are helping the next generation learn civic responsibility?

👉 How many of us are willing to return and work at the grassroots?

From my experience, many come to Bihar to study and research,
but very few stay to implement and build.

And those who do work here—know this truth:
⭐ Surviving and working in Bihar is not easy—it’s a strength.

💡 A small request to every Bihari:
Adopt your village.
Visit at least once a year.
Understand the real challenges.
Support even one small change—education, awareness, or opportunity.

Empower your people..

🌍 Change doesn’t always need big systems.

Sometimes, it just needs us to show up.

Let’s not just talk about Bihar. Let’s build Bihar.

When we talk about implementing any policy or program, we often think at scale. But real, sustainable change always begins at the smallest unit.

A Gram Panchayat is not just an administrative body—it is a convergence point of multiple stakeholders: community members, frontline workers, local governance systems, and child protection mechanisms. If we strengthen systems at this level, we can build a replicable and scalable model for child protection.

Starting small allows us to:-

*Test what works on the ground

*Build community ownership

*Create sustainable systems

*Replicate impact at district and state levels

A well-functioning Gram Panchayat can become a model for child protection, ensuring that every child is safe, supported, and connected to formal systems of care.

Sharing a set of posters that explain how this system can work in practice.

Small Steps on the way of saving a LIFE..

For a long time, I’ve been sharing insights and ground-level understanding around Safe Surrender, Fostering, and Adoption—areas that are deeply sensitive yet critically important for child protection.

Many people still have questions:
What is safe surrender? How does fostering work? What is the legal process of adoption? Who can help a child in need?

To bridge this gap, I’m now offering free awareness and guidance sessions for individuals, NGOs, and organizations who want to learn, engage, or work in this space.

These sessions will cover practical aspects, legal frameworks, and real challenges—so that more people can step forward with clarity and responsibility.

If you’re interested, you can register through the Google Form and join via the Zoom link shared. We need your basic details so request you to fill google form.

Let’s come together to ensure every child gets care, protection, and a chance at a better future.

From my Training from UNICEF, I’ve compiled my key learnings on Adolescent Development & Parenting into a simple resource (attached).

This compilation is based on practical experiences while working with adolescents, parents, and community stakeholders—especially around self-esteem, life skills, and positive parenting approaches.

I’m sharing it openly for practitioners, trainers, and organizations working at the community level.

If it supports your work in any way, I’d be glad.

Would also appreciate your thoughts or additional insights to strengthen this further.

Being part of this training was a two-way learning experience for me. I learned not only from the structured content but also from participants with diverse backgrounds and field experiences. This enriched my understanding of real-life challenges and solutions.

The training always contributes to both my personal and professional growth. It highlighted the importance of parenting in adolescent development, a stage marked by physical, hormonal, psychological, emotional, and social changes.

I realized that adolescents need empathy, open communication, and guidance rather than control. They need to be heard. Overall, the training strengthened my ability to engage effectively with adolescents and parents and improved my approach to community-based interventions.
