I found an innocuous message at one of the Ashram entrances. Just jotted it down and thought of posting it for us to read, ponder and act with immediate effect. We ought to make it our habit:
NOT TO POLLUTE ANY WATER BODY.

Day 6th 25th /11/ 2022...
Maa Narmada parikrama
Tilwara Deb to Badwani town ...
On 25 Nov the move out was at 06 10 hours.
It was all along the main road.
The morning walk was great and we walked at a fast pace covering above 6 Kms per hour for 2 hours.
With the intensity of the sun the pace slowed down and finally it was around 15 minutes per kilometre.
However, we managed to reach the district headquarters much before time. We waited for an hour and walked to the Government PG college, Badwani just in time and interaction with the staff, students and media was glorious.

DAY 5th ..24 / 11 / 2022 ..
Maa Narmada parikrama
Chincholi to Tilwara on 24 Nov was an eventful day. Hiren had slipped while negotiating a big watery patch and had suffered injury to his left knee and a scratch on his head.
It took us to the PHC at Brahmangaon, Khargone. The doctor and two other staff were present.
The PHC, besides being well stocked, was neat and friendly.
The lunch was enroute, near a small temple. Buttermilk was awesome. It was a real hot day.
We did manage to reach the Ashram post 5 PM. The bhoian being full of chillies, was quite difficult to consume. Somehow managed to finish!

Day 4th Wednesday, 23 Nov. 2022
MAA NARMADA PARIKRAMA.
The journey from Kathora to Chinchli was 40.75 Kms along the WALKING Parikrama route.
It was quite tiresome.
The daytime soaring temperatures, during the walk through sandy, stony undulating ground, devoid of trees, made the day more difficult. Anyway, reaching the Ashram was a gratifying experience.
The hosts didn’t even allow us to remove our used disposable plates.
Moreover, we were extended wash tub to wash our hand while we continued to be seated, after the Bhoj.
The bhajans, after dinner were exceptional.

Mardana to Kathora,
we walked a distance of above 34 Kms.
Quite foggy when we left the Ashram, after a good cup of tea, at 0635 hours. We came across a number of plantain and papaya fields.
Cotton was being harvested, whereas wheat and gram had germinated and could be around 7-14 days old.
Water found to be aplenty and just being pumped out of Narmada. The villagers were exceptionally hospitable and looked after us incredibly!
Reaching the Ashram at 1655, we found that all of us being treated as guests of honour. walking ..distance 34.20 kilometre
The tea and dinner after few hours, a treat for ever!

DAY 2nd ..21/11/2022
maa Narmada parikrama day 2nd
journey from Katar to Mardana started at 0710 hours.
The weather was pleasant and there were three halts- tea and refreshments by various Ashrams enroute Mardana- the night halt.
It was quite tiring, maybe, because of being the second day! The Ashram environment was heavenly. Tea, followed by pujas culminated into dinner- simple but served with absolute devotion.
Nice sleep by 2130 hours.
