*Global entrepreneurship Summit( Tribal entrepreneurship special edition) @ Dantewada Chhattisgarh on 14th November*

The tribal regions in India are bestowed with the wealth of natural resources like forest and minerals and traditional knowledge that the tribal communities possess about the natural eco-system, medicinal plants, forest eco system etc. Ironically these regions are also one of the most under-developed and face problems of great scale such as poverty, malnutrition, low literacy and poor health. These mammoth problems can only be solved when inspired individuals challenge the status quo with their entrepreneurial zeal and spirit of innovation and develop solutions building on the core strengths of the tribal regions.

With the motive to inspire, nurture and promote this spirit of entrepreneurship; NITI Aayog is holding India’s first Tribal Entrepreneurship Summit at Dantewada, Chhattisgarh on 14th Nov, 2017. The event is a part of 8th Global Entrepreneurship Summit being held in India for the first time with the joint efforts of Government of India and United States of America. The tribal entrepreneurship summit will see the participation of tribal entrepreneurs from various sectors across the country and abroad and will be attended by the dignitaries like Hon. MoS, Science and Technology, Y. S. Chowdary and Mr. Ramanathan Ramanan, Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog.

आज आदिवासी समाजात मौखिक आणि इत्तर स्वरूपात असलेले पारंपरिक ज्ञान, बौद्धिक संपदा या पुढे मोठे आव्हान आहे. मोठ्या कंपन्या आणि व्यापार विविध माध्यमातून या सगळ्यांचा परस्पर उपयोग त्यांच्या नफ्यासाठी करतात (उदाहरण - वनऔषधी, कला, कारागिरी, साधन सामग्री, जीवनोपयोगी वस्तू, फळे, इत्यादी).
वारली चित्रकलेचे पण तेच होते आहे. खूपच कमी आदिवासी कलाकारांना संधी आणि त्यांच्या कष्टांचा मोबदला मिळतो. आणि आता तर विदेशी कंपन्या वारली चित्रकलेवर स्वामित्व मिळवत आहेत. या वेळेस जर आपण गांभीर्याने घेतले नाही तर जसे भारताला हळद, कडू निंब, बासमती च्या बौद्धिक संपदा नोंदवताना घाम आला होता तसे होणार आहे.
मोठे मोठे प्रकल्प आणि विकासाच्या नावाने त्यांची जल जंगल जमीन घेऊन कृत्रिम औद्यीगिकरण लादण्यापेक्षा, पर्यावरणाला अनुकूल आणि आधुनिक तंत्रज्ञाना सोबत पारंपरिक सामूहिक उद्योग उभे करू शकलो तर आदिवासी समाजाची स्वावलंबी अर्थव्यवस्था सशक्तीकरणासाठी हातभार लागेल. यासाठी समाजात जागरूकता, कौशल्य विकास, शिक्षण पद्धती, प्रसाशनाची संवेदनशीलता यांचा गांभीर्याने विचार व्हावा

नमस्ते!
आदिवासी समाज आज अगदी नाजूक परीस्तीतीतून जातो आहे. प्रगतीच्या आणि अधुनिकतेच्या नावाने आपली सांस्कृतिक ओळख, सामाजिक अस्मिता, जंगल जमीन हरवून बसतोय. भविष्यात आदिवासी समाजहिता साठी समाजातूनच नेतृत्व आणि विविध पातळीवर सामाजिक प्रयत्न करून आपण सामाजिक कार्याला हातभार लावू शकतो.

आदिवासी समाजात सहकार, उद्योजगता सशक्त करून आपली सामाजिक चळवळ मजबूत करण्या करिता आपण प्रयत्न करीत आहोत. त्या करिता "राज्यस्थरिय आदिवासी बहु उदेशिय सहकारी संस्था" नोंदणी करीत आहोत.
