दिवाळी, आग आणि खबरदारी
अलीकडॆ आगीचे प्रमाण वाढले आहे. दिवाळीत आग लागण्य़ाचे प्रमाण काहीअंशी वाढते. खरंतर दिवाळी हा आनंदाचा सण. या आनंदावर आगीचं सावट असू नये म्हणून ग्रेट फायर सेफ्टी सोल्यूशन ही संस्था आग प्रतिबंधक जनजागृती सप्ताह साजरा करत आहे. लोकांनी आगीपासून प्रतिबंध व्हावा म्हणून नेमकी काय काळजी घेतली पाहिजे, कोणत्या उपाययोजना केल्या पाहिजे यासंबंधी ग्रेट फायर सेफ्टी सोल्यूशनचे संचालक आणि अग्नीरोधक तज्ज्ञ प्रभाकर कान्हू घोक्षे यांचा हा मार्गदर्शनपर लेख.
दिवाळी म्हणजे रोषणाईचा काळ. दिवाळी जवळ येताच कंदील, रांगोळ्या, सजावटीचे सामान यामुळे बाजारपेठा अक्षरशः उजळून निघतात. या दिवाळीच्या सणामध्ये फटाक्यांचे महत्व अधिक वाढते. अगदी लहानांपासून मोठ्यांपर्यंत फटाके वाजवण्याचा मोह कोणाला आवरता येत नाही. पण हे फटाके फोडताना खबरदारी घेणेदेखील तितकेच महत्वाचे असते. फटाक्यांची रोषणाई आणि त्यातून रंगांची झालेली उधळण सुरक्षितरित्या अनुभवण्यासाठी खबरदारीचे उपाय पाळले पाहिजेत.
वैयक्तिक खबरदारी
१. फटाके फोडायला जाताना खादीचे किंवा हलके सुती कपडे परिधान करावेत. पार्टी ड्रेस, फ्रील चे कपडे घालणे टाळावे.
२. फटाके फोडताना जास्तीत जास्त मोकळ्या जागेचा म्हणजे मैदानाचा वापर करावा. आसपास कोणतीही वाहने नाहीत याची खात्री करावी. फटाक्यांच्या ठिणग्या उडून वाहनांना आग लागण्याचा आणि दुर्घटना घडण्याची शक्यता असते.
३. फटाके फोडायला जाताना सर्वात महत्वाचे म्हणजे बाजूला पाण्याची आणि वाळूची बादली असणे आवश्यक आहे. जर चुकून आग लागली तर खबरदारी म्हणून वाळू आणि पाण्याचा वापर फायदेशीर ठरतो.
४. फटाके साठवण्याच्या जागा देखील महत्वाच्या असतात. फटाके ठेवण्यासाठी स्टीलचे कंटेनर किंवा जाड प्लास्टिकच्या कंटेनरचा वापर करावा. फटाके ज्वलनशील असल्यामुळे बॉक्स किंवा पॉलिथीनच्या पिशवीचा वापर टाळावा.
५. प्रथमोपचार किट सोबत असणे गरजेचे आहे. या कीटमध्ये दाहकता कमी करण्याचे औषध तसेच अँटीसेप्टिक लोशन असणे देखील गरजेचे आहे. तसेच आपत्कालीन क्रमांकाची यादी सोबत ठेवावी.
६. फटाके फक्त घराबाहेर जाळावेत.
७. फटाके पेटवताना फक्त अगरबत्तीचा वापर करावा.
८. उडणारे फटाके म्हणजे रॉकेट, फ़ॅन्सी फटाके ई. हे नेहमी सरळ दिशेत आणि मैदानावर उडवावेत.
९. वापरलेले फटाके पुन्हा जाळू नयेत.
१०. गर्दीच्या ठिकाणी, अरुंद गल्ल्यांमध्ये किंवा आगीच्या स्रोतांमध्ये फटाके जाळू नयेत.
सदनिकांसाठी खबरदारीचे उपाय
आजकाल सर्वच ठिकाणी सोसायटी आहेत. या सोसायटी परिसरात राहताना आपल्यासोबतच इतरांची काळजी देखील तेवढीच महत्वाची असते. यासाठी काही खबरदारीचे उपाय पुढीलप्रमाणे
१. अपार्टमेंट ओनर्स असोसिएशन आणि रहिवासी कल्याण संघ (RWA) दिवाळी किंवा सण उत्सवाच्या वेळी आग रोखण्याची महत्वाची भूमिका बजावत असतात. रहिवाशांना बाल्कनी, जिने, लॉबी, लॉनमधून फटाके जाळण्यापासून प्रतिबंधित करा.
२. अपार्टमेंट मालक असोसिएशन दिवाळी साजरी करण्यासाठी नियम किंवा मार्गदर्शक तत्वांचा समावेश असलेली नोटीस छापील किंवा डिजिटल मध्यामांचा वापर करून जारी करावी.
३. फटाके पेटवण्यासाठी मोकळी जागा आणि सर्वात सुरक्षित परिसर निश्चित करावा.
४. आगीच्या दुर्घटना टाळण्यासाठी आपत्कालीन निर्वासन योजना किंवा इमारत निर्वासन योजनांची खात्री करावी आणि स्थलांतर करताना पाळल्या जाणाऱ्या प्रक्रियेबद्दल जागरुकता निर्माण करण्यासाठी मॉक ड्रील आयोजित करावे.
५. अग्निशमन उपकरणे चांगल्या कामकाजाच्या स्थितीत असल्याची खात्री करणे आणि अपार्टमेंट कॉम्प्लेक्सच्या सामान्य भागात इव्हॅक्युएशन प्लॅन असणे गरजेचे आहे.

लहान मुलांसाठी खबरदारीचे उपाय
१. मुलांनी फटाके फोडताना प्रौढ व्यक्तीच्या देखरेखीखाली फटाके फोडण्यास जावे.
२. एकावेळी एकच फटाका फोडावा.
३. फटाके वाजवताना ते हातात घेऊन वाजवू नये.
४. लहान मुलांनी दुसऱ्यांचे अनुकरण करून इतरांच्या अंगावर फटाके फेकू नयेत.
५. सर्व फटाके एकत्र करून जाळू नयेत.
६. घरातील मोठे सांगतील त्या गोष्टींचे पालन करून फटाके वाजवावेत.
७. फटाके खिशात ठेऊन इतरत्र वावरू नये.
