Arun Ferreira is Tommy and Yvonne Ferreira's son. Nephew of Noel and Fr. Alwyn D'silva. Ingrid and and I were inspired when we first heard of the selfless work this young man was doing in the Santa Cruz slums. In 2007 he was arrested and falsely dubbed a Maoist. Below is a brief account of the terrible injustice that has been visited on this blameless young man.
