The wait is over — Green Works Trust is excited to welcome you back to the Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary for the Phansad Bird Count!!!
We admit this is a short-notice announcement, but luckily birding doesn’t need long preparation 😉 It’s not too late—plan and join the count!
Phansad Bird Count is a long-term avifauna monitoring initiative by Green Works Trust ; in partnership with SBI Foundation under their Conservation through Sustainable Engagements, Restoration and Wildlife Protection (CONSERW) programme ; in association with Maharashtra Forest Department's Thane Wildlife Division.
Date : Jan 30 to 1st Feb 2026

‘Phansad Bird Count’ is a Citizen Science initiative which focusses on collection of scientific data about avifauna through systematic observation and documentation techniques using scientific methods which is done by citizen participation.
