During the month of May, a total of 08 minor boys and girls were recovered by different GRPSs under Kharagpur GRP District and subsequently handed over to their respective family members.

২৭/০৫/২০২৬ তারিখ রাত প্রায় ৯:২৫ মিনিট নাগাদ এক দম্পতি অত্যন্ত উদ্বিগ্ন অবস্থায় পাঁশকুড়া GRPS-এ এসে জানান যে, হাওড়াগামী ট্রেনে যাত্রাকালীন তাঁদের ৮ বছরের কন্যাসন্তান নিখোঁজ হয়ে গেছে।
ঘটনার গুরুত্ব অনুধাবন করে পাঁশকুড়া GRPS-এর কর্তব্যরত অফিসাররা দ্রুত হাওড়াগামী বিভিন্ন স্টেশনের ডিউটি টিমকে বিষয়টি জানিয়ে সতর্ক করেন। পরবর্তীতে ভোগপুর স্টেশনে কর্তব্যরত প্ল্যাটফর্ম ডিউটি টিম ট্রেন থেকে শিশুটিকে নিরাপদে উদ্ধার করতে সক্ষম হয়। 🙏
এর কিছুক্ষণ পর ওই দম্পতি আরও জানান যে, ট্রেনের মধ্যেই তাঁদের একটি ব্যাগ ফেলে এসেছে, যার ভিতরে ছিল প্রায় ৮০ গ্রাম সোনার গয়না। সঙ্গে সঙ্গে পরবর্তী স্টেশনে কর্তব্যরত GRP টিমকে খবর দেওয়া হয় এবং নন্দাই গাজন স্টেশন এলাকায় ট্রেন থেকে ব্যাগটি উদ্ধার করা হয়।
পরবর্তীতে সমস্ত প্রয়োজনীয় যাচাই-বাছাই সম্পন্ন করে উদ্ধার হওয়া শিশুকন্যা ও সোনার গয়না ভর্তি ব্যাগ প্রকৃত মালিকের হাতে নিরাপদে তুলে দেওয়া হয়।
✨ এই ঘটনাই আবারও প্রমাণ করে —
“মানুষের পাশে, মানুষের নিরাপত্তায় GRP সর্বদা প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।” 🚆👮

📱✨ হারিয়ে যাওয়া মোবাইল ফিরিয়ে দিয়ে আবারও মানুষের মুখে হাসি ফিরিয়ে দিল Dum Dum GRPS।
আজ ২৬.০৫.২০২৬ তারিখে মোট ৪২টি হারানো মোবাইল প্রকৃত মালিকদের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হলো যথাযথ যাচাইয়ের মাধ্যমে। মানুষের পাশে, মানুষের সেবায় — GRP সর্বদা প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ। 🙏🚆

Today, on 26.05.2026, a total of 42 missing mobile phones were recovered and handed over to the actual owners after proper verification. Serving people with dedication, care, and responsibility — GRP always stands beside the passengers. 🙏🚆

05 numbers of mobile phones have been recovered by various GRPS under Kharagpur GRP District and handed over the same to its actual owners after maintaining all legal formalities.

On 10.05.2026 Chakdah GRPP under Ranaghat GRPS recovered one HP Laptop and handed it over to the actual owner namely Sangeeta Das D/o Sailen Das of Gokul Nagar, Promod Nagar, PS Falakata, Dist Alipurduar after verifying all valid documents and completion of all legal formalities. This refers to Chakdah GRPP GDE No 107 dtd 10.05.2026. West Bengal Police

On 30.04.2026 on duty platform party at Naihati Railway Station under the jurisdiction of Naihati GRPS recovered one bags which contained one ASU's Laptop, and other accessories. Subsequently, the laptop along with all articles handed over to rightful owner namely Ritika Agarwal, D/O Lakhi Chand Agarwal of Khardah, 69/B B.T Road, Milangarh, PS-Titagarh, Dist- North 24 Parganas, after proper verification and completion of all legal formalities. This refers to Naihati GRPS GDE No. 980 dated 30.04.2026. West Bengal Police

On 27/04/2026, a total of 54 (fifty four) missing/stolen mobile phones, which had been recovered by various GRPSs under Sealdah GRP District, were handed over to their original owners, after proper verification and completion of all legal formalities. West Bengal Police

হাওড়া রেলস্টেশন থেকে এক বাক্স মোবাইল ফোন চুরির অভিযোগ। দ্রুত তদন্তে নেমেই আজ হাওড়া জিআরপি টিম কলকাতার ক্যামাক স্ট্রিটের ইলেকট্রনিক স্টোর থেকে উদ্ধার করলো মোট আটচল্লিশটি চুরি যাওয়া ফোন, গ্রেফতার তিন।
Yesterday over a written complaint form one Kamal Kumar Agarwal of Shanti Niketan Building, Camac Atreet, that someone has stolen his consignment bag with 48 pcs of POCO C85X (4GB/64GB) mobile handsets from Howrah Railstation, which had arrived from New Delhi on Poorva Express, a specific case was registered at Howrah GRPS.

Acting promptly, in the night of 17.04.2026, SI Rabindranath Pramanik (Investigating Officer), along with officers and force, and with the assistance of Park Street Police, conducted a raid at the shop of Kunal Electronics located at Madan Street, Kolkata. During the raid, the stolen 48 POCO C85X (4GB/64GB) mobile handsets were successfully recovered and seized from the possession of accused Prakash Singh.
The arrested persons have been produced in Court.
