The nearest Indian Airport to is (IXB). Since it is an Army airport, the number of flights in a day are very less and the flights are mostly off schedule. It takes 4 hours to reach Phuentsholing from Bagdogra Airport. Private Taxis and buses are available.

You can also take a direct flight to Paro Airport. Direct Flights are available from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Kathmandu etc.

Paro is 30 mins drive away from Thimphu.

The nearest Indian Railway Station to Phuentsholing is Hasimara (State of West Bengal) which is at a distance of 20 Km.

The nearest Indian airport is Bagdogra (175 Km).

HOW TO REACH BHUTAN By Train

The nearest railway stations to Jaigaon are New Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar and New Cooch Behar. Trains halt for less than 5 minutes at Alipurduar and New Cooch Behar.

New Jalpaiguri (New Jalpaiguri is a railway station which serves the city of Siliguri) to Phuentsholing - 4 hrs
Alipurduar to Phuentsholing - 2 hrs
New Cooch Behar to Phuentsholing - 2 hrs
