Our young learners from Classes I to V stepped into a world of creativity and discovery through a vibrant Skills Learning Programme led by our passionate teachers.
From molding ideas with clay to expressing themselves through art, folding stories with origami, nurturing plants, moving to rhythm, and sharpening their minds with games… every activity sparked curiosity and joy.
This journey went beyond learning new skills; it was about building confidence, creativity, and a love for exploring beyond the classroom.
The excitement came alive in a vibrant showcase, where students proudly presented their creations and talents.

Tiny Worlds, Big Wonder

Our Class 8 students stepped into the fascinating world of cells today. Their joy and amazement knew no bounds as they observed the bacterial cells, for the very first time through a compound microscope.

As they watched these tiny living cells and learned that every living organism is made up of microscopic building blocks called cells, they were filled with excitement, curiosity, and endless “Wow!” moments.

Learning truly comes alive when science is explored with our own eyes.

Hands-on learning at its best

Our Class 8 students explored the fascinating world of quadrilaterals using magnetic strips. By creating and comparing different shapes, they understood how sides, angles and diagonals make each quadrilateral unique.

From squares and rectangles to parallelograms, rhombuses and trapeziums, students discovered the properties of each shape through activity-based learning. They also combined different shapes to create interesting figures, boosting their creativity, observation and problem-solving skills.

Learning becomes more meaningful when students can see, touch and create.

Heritage Valley - The Indian School, Shadnagar is conducting a Summer Camp this May for students from all schools around the Shadnagar area.

Ages: 8-17

The camp brings together yoga, a daily outdoor confidence circuit, and a choice of 5 immersive electives into one tightly designed ten-day experience for children aged 8 to 17.

COMMON TO ALL STUDENTS

8.00-8.15AM: Meditation, Breathing. A calm, tranquil start to the day.

8.15AM - 9.30AM: Yoga, exercise, obstacle course, rope walk, creative problem solving, confidence building.

ELECTIVES (CHOOSE ANY ONE)

9.30AM - 11.00AM: Dance / Music / Art + Pottery / Vollyball / Football

A certificate will be awarded at the end of the workshop.

Learning goes beyond textbooks

After the Session Ending Exams, Skills Learning Programme for the students of Classes VI-IX was organised. It was led by dedicated school staff.

Students explored carpentry, pottery, art, basic electrical work, handwriting, reading, mental math, stitching & crochet through hands-on activities.

The programme aimed to build practical skills, creativity, and confidence.

Participation certificates and sports achievement certificates celebrated their enthusiasm.

Her excellent rank will place her in the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), a highly respected service contributing to the nation’s governance and economic system.

Her achievement reflects years of dedication, hard work, and determination.

Students of Classes VI–IX attended an informative AI & Robotics Session conducted in the school. The workshop introduced them to the role of science in everyday life, along with emerging technologies such as 3D printing and robotics.
