Two-Day Survey Completed at Boh Village, Kangra
HPSDMA, in collaboration with partner agencies, successfully completed a two-day disaster assessment exercise at Boh Village, District Kangra.
Phase-I: Socio-Economic Perception Survey
Phase-II: Drone Survey for high-resolution spatial mapping
The combined findings will support detailed understanding of losses, parcel-wise impacts, damage to houses, agriculture and other assets, and related economic losses.
Grateful to AGiSAC, DDMA Kangra, Revenue Department representatives, the concerned SDM, and the local community for their valuable support.

🏫 Building safer schools, one skill at a time!

Under HPSDMA’s ongoing School Safety and Preparedness Programme, a hands-on training session was conducted at Government Senior Secondary School, Beolia, Shimla, by HP Home Guards, 3rd Battalion, led by Platoon Commander Shri Naresh Kumar Verma and his team.

Students and staff practised essential emergency response skills, covering:
🔹 Disaster awareness
🔹 Earthquake safety: Drop–Cover–Hold
🔹 First aid and CPR
🔹 Emergency carrying methods
🔹 Early warning applications

👥 175 participants — 150 students and 25 teaching and non-teaching staff — took part in the programme.

Supported by DDMA Shimla, with the active cooperation of Principal Ms. Nisha Sharma Ji and the school staff, the session helped build preparedness, confidence and resilience across the school community.

- केंद्रीय अंतर-मंत्रालयी टीम ने कुल्लू के आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का निरीक्षण कर भारी बारिश, बाढ़ एवं भूस्खलन से हुए नुकसान, राहत एवं पुनर्स्थापना कार्यों का जायजा लिया।
- केंद्रीय टीम ने सैंज क्षेत्र में नुकसान का आकलन किया। जांच समिति की सहमति के बाद पानी छोड़ने और पुनर्स्थापना कार्यों को लेकर ग्रामीणों की रोक हटी।
- केंद्रीय टीम ने कुल्लू के सैंज क्षेत्र के प्रभावित स्थानों का दौरा कर स्थानीय लोगों से मुलाकात की और उनकी समस्याओं व नुकसान की जानकारी ली।
- केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय की टीम ने भूस्खलन प्रभावित मातला-सिउंड क्षेत्र का निरीक्षण कर नुकसान, सुरक्षा व्यवस्था तथा राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों की स्थिति का जायजा लिया।
- गृह मंत्रालय के संयुक्त सचिव एम. रामचंद्रुडु के नेतृत्व में केंद्रीय टीम ने सैंज में मानसून के दौरान भारी बारिश, बाढ़ एवं भूस्खलन से हुए नुकसान का आकलन किया।

- गृह मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के संयुक्त सचिव एम. रामचंद्रुडु के नेतृत्व में 6 सदस्यीय अंतर-मंत्रालयी केंद्रीय दल आपदा से हुए नुकसान का जायजा लेने कांगड़ा पहुंचा। गगल एयरपोर्ट पर उपायुक्त हेमराज बैरवा ने दल का स्वागत किया। जिला अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक कर नुकसान, राहत एवं पुनर्स्थापना कार्यों की जानकारी ली गई।

- केंद्रीय दल ने भटियात और बोह के आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का दौरा कर स्थानीय लोगों से संवाद किया तथा नुकसान, राहत एवं पुनर्स्थापना कार्यों की जानकारी ली। दो दिवसीय दौरे के दौरान कांगड़ा के अन्य प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का भी निरीक्षण निर्धारित किया गया।

- केंद्रीय दल ने कांगड़ा में भारी बारिश, बाढ़ एवं भूस्खलन से हुए नुकसान का स्थलीय आकलन किया। दल में गृह, जल शक्ति, कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण, ग्रामीण विकास, सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग, वित्त मंत्रालय तथा ISRO/NRSC से जुड़े अधिकारी एवं विशेषज्ञ शामिल रहे।

🌧️ Light to Moderate Rain: A few spells are likely across Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Hamirpur & Bilaspur.
🟡 Yellow Alert: Light to moderate rain is likely at a few places in Lahaul-Spiti & Kinnaur.

विद्यालय सुरक्षा योजना परियोजना (SSP) के तहत HPSDMA द्वारा UNDP एवं EHI International के सहयोग से मॉक ड्रिल एवं सुरक्षित निकासी अभ्यास आयोजित किया गया।

56+ विद्यार्थियों एवं स्टाफ ने सुरक्षित निकासी, सुरक्षित एकत्रीकरण स्थल की पहचान तथा ड्रॉप, कवर एवं होल्ड अभ्यास में भाग लिया।
